Sometimes poker tournaments are full of surprises. So it's the case here in Malta at the partypoker Grand Prix. We already knew that this event was absolutely splashed with Italians, but to have the honour of having Luca Pagano at the tables, has to be called unique.
We know Luca mostly from the EPT events of PokerStars, where he final tabled a stunning 3 Main Events in one year, including the Grand Final in Monaco. With a total of $2,2M in cashes, he dropped to position #14 of the Italian All-Time money list. Lately he hasn't added any results to his list since 2017.
Speaking of that list, #8 Allessio Isaia is also here as he played flight 1D yesterday.
Update: You can call it coincidence, but while writing this post he got busted out of the tournament.
