Igor Pihela Sr.: A 10
Glen Gaines: K Q
Pihela Sr. was slightly ahead but fell far behind after Gaines connected his king on the K 4 2 flop. Neither the 5 turn nor the 6 river saved Pihela Sr, and he had to settle for the runner-up prize of €42,300.
Meanwhile, congrats to the United Kingdom’s Glen Gaines for his biggest live poker win for €62,400 and, of course, the coveted trophy. This was also the largest single Tallinn Summer Showdown Main Event prize in tour history.
Gaines shared with PokerListings after he won that he won the hand with what they call locally back home the “Reading Special.”
Stay tuned for the recap of the 2022 Tallinn Summer Showdown Main Event.
