The second day of the 2022 Kings of Tallinn €1,100 Main Event is in the books after eight more blind levels of an hour each.

The tournament attracted 35 new entries on Day 2 before late registration closed after the first blind level of play to bring the total field size up to 328 entries for a tasty prize pool of €308,320.

Tomorrow will start off close to the money bubble thanks to the field already trimmed down to just 42 hopefuls and just 39 getting paid at least a min-cash of €1,900. Of course, we will have to wait until Sunday's final table to know who will be the player that will win the €64,280 top prize along with the coveted trophy but Spain's Ignacio Garrido placed himself in the best position to be the last player standing after bagging up a Day 2 chip leading stack of 585,000.

Three other players found a bag north of 500,000 including Finland's Ville Konttinen (570,000), Lithuanian WSOP gold bracelet winner Vincas Tamasauskas (569,000), and Australian poker globetrotter Adam Kharman (546,000).

Two female players are still in the mix, although one of them in Norway's Evy Albrigtsen has her work cut out for her tomorrow as she will enter the action with the shortest stack of 26,000. The other woman remaining in Phenporn Laatikainen is in a bit of better shape with a stack of 200,000 entering Day 3.

Other notable players still in the mix include Mark Metsla (405,000), Algirdas Saveikis (324,000), Rasmus Sepping (256,000), Daragh Davey (236,000), Sebastian Wahl (200,000), Touko Berndtson (197,000), Roope Tarmi (195,000), and Ilari Sahamies (129,000).
