Peter de Bruin came into Day 2 with the chip lead. He is no longer the chip leader but does have a big stack still. He lost some chips in the following hand to Vincenzo Pellegrino.
Pellegrino bet 55,000 into a pot of a bit more with the 9 2 2 7 J on the board. De Bruin tanked for a couple of minutes before he called.
Pellegrino turned over J 9 for top two pair.
“Nice river,” de Bruin said as he was mucking his cards.
Peter de Bruin – 500,000
Vincenzo Pellegrino – 375,000
