Always Nice to Be Jammed into With Quads

Matthew Adams is sitting on a stack of about 300,000. We just found out how he got most of those chips.

A player from under the gun opened for 3,000. Adams called from two seats over as did two other players. The original raiser was the first one actively betting after the four-four-jack flop with two hearts and he fired out for 8,000. Adams and another player called.

The original raiser bet 19,000 on a blank turn. Adams jacked it up to 60,000 and the original player jammed for more than the about 130,000 Adams had in his stack. Adams called and was in amazing shape with pocket fours for quads. It was a bit of a cooler for his opponent who held pocket jacks for a full house.

Adams' opponent didn't hit his one outer on the river and the rest was history.
