UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre is playing the $10,000 World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas and PokerListings was the first to catch him on video. St-Pierre tells us about how far his poker game has come and also addresses his friend Chris Weidman's recent upset victory against UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva. Check out this WSOP 2013 video interview to hear it straight from GSP.

I've been in the World Series last year. I was extremely nervous, ya know. But now I feel more relaxed now. I think it's the little bit more experience and I'm going to have a better time. You know, enjoying more of the experience and not be too much under pressure.

I deal with a lot of pressure situations because of my sport, but this is different. This is more psychological. It's something really different and I need to make sure I don't let my emotions take over, because that was my mistake last year. I let my emotions take over myself. That's how i got caught, but today I have to be smart - I have to be smart today.

I am known as a very disciplined fighter, but also a very undisciplined poker player, so, but that's what I'm working on. I need to be more disciplined.

I watched my friend fight.. Chris Weidman was going to win, but I didn't think he was going to win the way that he won.

Thought he was going to win on the ground or maybe submission. But he won with a knockout, a beautiful knockout standing up. I think Silva got caught, you know. I think Silva is still the best in world, but he just got caught. It happens to everyone. The thing that Silva does is he's very good at getting into his opponent's mind. I don't think its much of a lack of respect, it's more that he tried to get into his opponent's mind and play mind games with his opponent. That almost worked... it almost work that time, but he got caught, you know.

But it doesn't mean that it was not a good situation for him. Maybe he should not have made that much, but he just got caught, you know. You always recognize a great champion coming back by how they come back from a loss.

I know Silva came back from loss before and from adversity in his fight and he's the greatest of all time for sure. I'm happy for Chris Weidman, hes my friend, his house got flooded, he has a family with kids, it cannot happen to a better, a better guy. I'm very happy for him.

He's a well deserved guy and he going to make some money too. I'm very happy for him. He's a good guy and he needs that stuff. He deserved it. Depending on if Silva can win a rematch, I believe he can win every match again.
