Table of Contents
What is Hand2Note?
Hand2Note is a strong poker tracking tool that gives you live stats and helps you analyze your game after playing. Hand2Note has all the tools for serious poker players, including a HUD, popups, reports, graphs, and analysis tools.
Hand2Note offers all the standard features of regular poker tracking software, plus awesome valuable tools.
Differences Between Hand2Note 4 and Hand2Note 3
- Performance speed. The software has become faster. Of course, the speed depends on your hardware and configuration, but according to user feedback, Hand2Note now works 3-7 times faster on average. The performance improvements apply to import speed, statistic calculation speed, and switching between databases.
- Reports section (Reports tab). This section allows players to work on their game directly inside Hand2Note without using third-party programs or trackers.
- Improved design. The interface is built in a more unified structure. The program has several tabs, and navigation is done by switching between them. There are no huge numbers of pop-up windows creating confusion. It has become much easier to navigate through the software.
- Support for more games. Hand2Note 4 supports 6-card PLO.
- More accurate calculations. EV calculations for bomb pots have been fixed and improved.
- Direct Hand History import from GGPoker. Hand2Note 4 supports importing Hand History from GGPoker directly without using a converter.
- HUD support for rooms where Hand History is not directly available. Hand2Note can now display HUDs in poker rooms where Hand History access is unavailable. The software simply scans the visual information from the table, provided that the poker room itself does not prohibit HUD usage. This means you only need to open the poker room, launch Hand2Note, start playing at a table — and the HUD will appear on the screen.
- Additional features and small improvements that make the overall experience better: creating aliases based on parameters, mass tag assignment, HUD outlines matching marker colors, adjusting HUD transparency when hovering the cursor, manual badges, and more.
Key Features in Hand Note 4
Hand2Note 4 introduces several major improvements compared to previous versions. Beyond its well-known HUD and tracking capabilities, the latest release includes a redesigned reporting system, enhanced statistical analysis tools, improved session review features, and a more streamlined workflow.
The sections below cover the most important features of Hand2Note 4 and explain how they can help players analyze hands, identify leaks, and improve their overall decision-making process.
Hand2Note 4 Reports Tab

This is a new section that turns Hand2Note from a tracker and HUD into an advanced game analysis tool. Set a filter to choose a spot for analysis. You can use Quick Filters (OR, RFI, 3B, C3B, 4B; your position and opponent’s position, hand range, etc.) or create Custom Filters by specifying the number of players and detailed action on every street.
Quick Filters allow beginners and players who simply want to study common situations to work on their game.
Once you select a filter and click “Apply,” the statistics on the page change. The upper part of the screen shows the number of hands matching the selected filter, derived stats for this filter, Action Profit, and more. The lower part displays the hands that match the selected criteria.
This tab also allows you to create graphs based on selected filter parameters, view preflop ranges (you can click on a hand to see all hands played with that exact holding), and analyze hand strength.
Another new Hand2Note feature is the cascading reports system. After setting a specific filter (for example, CBet Flop), you can choose derived stats, such as 2nd Barrel. Clicking on it opens another report with detailed information about the selected stat (2nd Barrel). You can then open another report from the 2nd Barrel Stat, and so on. Each tab displays results and hands based on the selected parameter. In practice, you can keep opening these tabs for as long as you need.
Hand2Note 4 Statistics Tab

This tab is designed for working with Pop Ups. Here, you can analyze stats and set the necessary parameters and filters. You can study statistics for individual players as well as for aliases. Filters allow you to select the time period you want to analyze (All Time, Today, This Week, This Month, This Year, or a custom date range).
The Statistics tab allows you to create Dashboards. A new Dashboard = a new page for a selected Pop Up. You can switch between Pop Ups. For example, you can create one Pop Up for Hero and another for a specific opponent and compare their stats. All Dashboards are saved. You can switch to another hand database — and your Dashboards will remain unchanged.
Studying Dashboards in the Statistics tab works through cascading tabs, similar to Reports. Click on a specific stat, and a new cascading tab opens — essentially a compact and structured pop-up for that stat. You can view information about Ranges, Boards, Bet Sizes, and Hands.
Essentially, Reports and Statistics replace Range Research, which was available in Hand2Note 3. These sections allow you to analyze the game of specific opponents or an Alias (a group of players). In Alias, you can add individual players by nickname or create groups based on specific parameters (for example, VPIP and PFR ranges).
Hand2Note 4 Sessions Tab

This tab is designed for working with hands played during a specific session. Choose a player, set a date range — and a list of hands played during that period will appear in the window. The data can be filtered by date, session duration, number of hands, profit, and EV.
During a session, hands are automatically loaded into this tab, allowing you to tag them while playing. The Sessions tab lets you track results for the current session both in tournaments and cash games.
Hand2Note 4 Marked Hands Tab

This tab collects all hands marked during a session. You can select multiple Marked Hand Tags at once (for example, raise, 3B, BvB, SRP, ICM50%, etc.). A single hand can have multiple tags. After the session, hands can be reviewed by groups. Remove a tag — and the hand disappears from the tab.
Hand2Note 4 Service Tabs
The service tabs are located in the bottom-left part of the screen.

- Hud Editor — a section for working with HUDs. You can add new stats, remove unnecessary ones, customize colors, and more.

Can You Use Hand2Note While Playing?
Due to its tracking, HUD, and analytic features, which do not include real-time assistance (RTA), Hand2Note is authorized on most popular online poker sites.
As with all poker tracking software, players should check with their poker sites to see whether Hand2Note is authorized.
Although most popular sites allow HUDs and tracking software, some may impose limitations on the data that can be shown or features that may be used. As long as it’s utilized only for statistical analysis, Hand2Note is extensively used and approved on most platforms.
Hand2Note Alternatives
Professionals who play the game the old-fashioned way swear by PokerTracker 4, with Hold’em Manager coming in as a close second. Both have top-notch security measures, are very user-friendly, and provide excellent tracking and data analysis capabilities.
When it comes to importing hands, Hand2Note is much quicker than HM2/PT4, and it offers many more options for both in-game usage and analysis away from the tables.
Who Should Use Hand2Note?
With its extensive feature set, high degree of customization, and capacity for deep analysis, Hand2Note is a skillful and feature-rich poker-tracking application.
Advanced players and professionals may make the most of their data-driven insights and build game-specific HUDs using this tool. There is a high learning curve, and the program is sophisticated, so it may not be the best choice for novices.
The dynamic HUDs, numerous filtering options, and complete reporting features of Hand2Note provide a substantial edge to skilled players who want to elevate their analysis. Users may choose a plan that works for them financially and meets their software demands because of the subscription model’s adaptability in terms of price and access.
