The Grand Prix event is coming close to an end for today. In around one hour of play, players will bag up their chips. Adam Owen is still in the game, so is Fausto Tantillo, Daniel Montagnolli, and Pierre Azzopardi. Ole Hansen, the only Norwegian player within this event, is also still going strong in this event.

Hand-For-Hand play was needed to conclude the last opening flight of the the Grand Prix event. We had reached the guarantee prize pool in this event, and due to the fact it was a Turbo Edition, the blinds would be from another level compared to the previous flights. A total of 290 entries came to play the turbo flight from 11:00 CET onwards here at Portomaso Casino.
Hand-for-Hand action:
- Player all-in with 80,000 on blinds 15,000/30,000. The big blind is a big stack and he calls it off with any two. Player at risk had [Ax][Kx] and the big blind had [8x][3x]. An ace on the flop would seal the deal for the short stack and he doubled up.
- A player was allin with [5x][6x] as he was forced all-in approximately, if he would have looked around, he would have thought twice about the hand perhaps. He was called by the initial raiser with [Kx][Jx]. The board gave a King and the job was done. We had one of the two players bust to conclude this flight.
- One player had to bust and then carnage started. Player was at risk with [Ax][4x], he was put at risk by someone who had him covered, and he showed [4x][6x]. The flop turn would give a straight to the player in the big blind, but the river gave a split pot with a [6x].
- At another table it was very intense. The small blind had just 2,000 behind, but folded when the CU went all-in. This because the big blind was forced all-in. However, the big blind won with [Qx][3x] against the pocked 9’s from his opponent. So another double up.
- The fifth all-in during the hand-for-hand play had another player at risk. This time it would be the final hand. He lost with [9x][2x] against [Ax][Jx].
We are going to take a small break now and will join the action at Day 2 in roughly 30 minutes from now.
We have reached the final table of the Millions High Roller event here in Malta. The line-up shows is that Matt Staples is still in the game, but has strong competitors around him, all looking to take down the whole event and to bring back home this amazing partypoker Millions trophy.
The live stream will start at approximately 18:30 CET and will be available at the YouTube channel of FuryTV.

Players: 67/290
Average: 216,000
In this flight, it’s the first time we reached a blind level higher than level 15. And we are not there yet, more than 20 players still need to bust before we reach the end of this flight. The roll-back will be massive in the blinds levels to Day 2, but it does remain a crapshoot at this point in flight 1H.
We are down to the final 9 players of the € 3,000 MILLIONS High Roller event! Matt Staples is still in the contest! All below players got busted out of the tournament:
Place | Country | Player Name | Prize Money |

Level 12: 2,500/5,000/5,000
Players: 113/290
Average: 128,319
The Grand Prix event now officially surpassed its registration period. With Day 1H being played out at this very moment, there will be added 44 more players for Day 2, which is being played out tonight at 19:00 CET.
As it’s a turbo opening flight, the famous words ”Seat Open” are being shouted by the dealers from any direction in the poker room, with the blind levels being very decent already. Previous flights ended in level 15, but we might go higher than that in here.
For Day 2, there will be a roll-back to blinds 3,000/6,000/6,000.
We will get the numbers later when they will be announced at the start of Day 2, but our calculation shows the following:
Unofficial prize pool : € 1,012,320
DUe to a stunning 288 entries in the last turbo flight of the Grand Prix, and with late registration open for one more level of 20 minutes, the prize pool now exceeded the € 1,000,000. It surely is a surprise to us, seeing so many players in the last turbo flight. But it shows, once again, that Malta is truly a good destination for us poker fanatics. There is nowhere to hide that thought, of Portomaso Casino being one of the greatest poker temples out there.
Today will be the final day of the Millions event, who are down to 16 players. With 92 players starting the second day of the event, only 20 of them would reach it to the money places. Here is the list of the remaining players, including the seat draw:

We are on the verge of kicking off with the last opening flight of the Grand Prix event in Malta here at the partypoker MILLIONS. It is the last chance for players to try and build a stack. At 11:00 CET cards will go in the air, of which we are very curious how many players will show up. Usually, the final flight has got a lower attendance rate then other opening flights of a Main Event, but Malta is full of surprises! The opening flights from yesterday were well visited, with 308 entries on Day 1F, and 354 on Day 1G.
Later today, Day 2 will kick off!

Day 1F just came to an end when Mateusz Kozuch was basically automatically all-in on the big blind, he got a call from Valter Miceli on the button.
Miceli needed help with his 4 6 , while Kozuch had [Qx][7x]. Every player in the room gathered as per usual around the table to see the outcome of the hand, and what a sensational end it was!
Flop 6 6 6 !!!
Turn and the river were dealt for the show as well, before players could go back to their seats to bag and tag.
We will come back later with the chip counts, but for today we will close up the live blog.
See you tomorrow for the final opening flight of the Grand Prix event, followed by Day 2!
We need to lose one more player until players can start bagging up their chips. It came twice to an all-in, but nobody had to go out of the tournament just yet.
- Valter Miceli was at risk with J Q , against pocket sevens of Televantou. With a Queen directly in the window, Miceli took the lead, and held up until the board was fully dealt. He plays around 450,000 now, and Televantou left with a couple chips, approximately 100,000.
- Marco Maggio was at risk, when he had his short stack in the middle. When the cards opened up, he showed Aces, while his opponent had 10 7 . With a Rainbow-flop and no card hit for his opponent, there wasn’t much wrong. But with another spade on the turn, the flush became a possibility. Maggio held up with his aces and survived. He plays around 200,000 now.
Pecelj had called from the big blind pre-flop, after Ribatallada had opened the action to 25,000 from the button. Pecelj asked how much the Spaniard was playing prior calling the raise.
Flop 3 5 5
They tangled on the flop, bringing the size of the pot to 180,000.
Turn gave the Q and now Pecelj put in a decent bet of 57,000. Ribatallada went for a long time in the tank, being part of his game strategy it seems. He generously folded his hand and play resumed.
Pecelj is looking for yet another cash in a big live event here in Malta as he had cashed in the Battle of Malta Main Event earlier this year, as well as at the Malta Poker Festival Main Event.
Pavle Pecelj | 420,000 | |
Ribatallada Ruiz Jordi | 180,000 |
We are left with 53 players, which means that 7 of them need to bust and we can bag and tag for today! Allesandro De Leo is the only remaining Maltese in this fight.
The MILLIONS High Roller is coming close to the money, and the good news is that Matt Staples, partypoker team pro, is still in the game. All remaining 36 players, will be looking for a cash today, and perhaps even winning the whole lot!

With only one female player remaining in this flight, all the hopes were set on her to get qualified for the Day 2 tomorrow. She found herself all-in and at risk, but easily doubled up her stack of 70,400 when she won the flip with pocket Jacks against Ace-King of her opponent. She plays now about 150,000, which is good for 25 big blinds.
We arrived at table 9, where two Italians clashed with each other. In a 3-betted pot pre-flop, Ferro continued for 32,000 on a flop of K 5 10 . Before his raise, the pot was about 80,000. Gnoli called the flop raise of Ferro, but folded when Ferro barrelled the turn as well with a raise to 61,000. Nice hand of Ferro, who adds a significant pot to his stack.
Massimiliano Ferro | 320,000 | |
Gabriele Gnoli | 280,000 |
Dorian Hem, a French poker player, just got involved in a reasonable sized pot where four players saw a flop of 2 Q 3 . He got one of his opponents to stay in involved and both saw the 3 on the turn. With allmost 80,000 in the post, Hem raised on the river to 35,000, but got an unfortunate fold of his opponent after being in the tank for a while. He then showed 3 3 for his Daily Quads.
Sometimes poker tournaments are full of surprises. So it’s the case here in Malta at the partypoker Grand Prix. We already knew that this event was absolutely splashed with Italians, but to have the honour of having Luca Pagano at the tables, has to be called unique.
We know Luca mostly from the EPT events of PokerStars, where he final tabled a stunning 3 Main Events in one year, including the Grand Final in Monaco. With a total of $2,2M in cashes, he dropped to position #14 of the Italian All-Time money list. Lately he hasn’t added any results to his list since 2017.
Speaking of that list, #8 Allessio Isaia is also here as he played flight 1D yesterday.
Update: You can call it coincidence, but while writing this post he got busted out of the tournament.

There is a fast pace in terms of bust outs in this flight. Late registration is still open, but we expect not much more entries in this flight. We will play down to the remaining 15% of the field. All players who will survive, will lock up a min cash, and will be qualified for Day 2 tomorrow. It’s an important stage in this live tournament currently, where finding the right spots is crucial.
Matt Staples knows all about it, although he is more of an online player and doesn’t have much live results just yet. As part of Team partypoker, he is crushing it in the MILLIONS event, which is ongoing in the main poker room on the stage.
The MILLIONS event with a buy-in of €3,000 is under way since an hour and we already took notice of the following bust outs. Dzmitry Urbanovich is perhaps the most known name of this list, who will continue his grind online presumably.

You never know what the future will bring, but the chance of getting an overlay edition here in Malta at the Grand Prix is starting to become reality. The guaranteed € 1,000,000 prize pool needs dozens of more players and with Day 1F now surpassing the 300 entries as we speak, and Day 1G set to kick off with 70 registered players at 18:00 CET, it won’t even be a close call.

Late registrations will last until the end of level 10, but we can already conclude that this is the biggest flight so far, when it comes to the live opening flights. Only the online flight attracted more players (319).
For the next available flight at 18:00 CET today, already 44 players registered, but for sure the ones who bust in the 1F, will try their luck in 1G.

Ten days ago, PokerListings hosted an online satellite on partypoker where you could win a package worth €1,500 for the partypoker Grand Prix event in Malta. Asif Warris from Manchester, United Kingdom, won that package and is playing now Day 1F of the Grand Prix event. Included in the package was a Grand Prix ticket of €550, hotel for 5 nights, and €250 for expenses. A great deal, and just for €5 he is now part of an event which had a guaranteed prize pool of €1,000,000!
Will he turn his €5 into a Grand Prix victory?
His nickname ‘Poker Tourist’, he explained to us a couple days back. Asif doesn’t just like poker when he is travelling for poker. He enjoys all the cities he is going to, and has very good tips for players where to go to, and what you should avoid doing. You can find him on social media with the same nickname.
Level 5: 400/800/800
Players: 230/261
Average: 56,500
Starting Stack: 50,000
We are playing in the poker room at the ground floor, but it seems they will be opening the tables in the main poker room upstairs shortly. Almost all poker tables are in use, as yet another satellite kicked off for the Grand Prix flight of tonight with almost 100 runners.
For this flight of the Grand Prix, Day 1F, there are more than five levels of late registration left.
The use of real-time assistants during a poker tournament is forbidden. The poker industry is hyped with this topic lately, so let’s give you a poker tool which you can use after the hand you played instead.
With this tool, you can calculate the odds of your hole cards, so you can check out if you made the right play. To study your poker game is the key to success, and perhaps you will end up winning a grand poker event!
We arrived at Portomaso Casino today for Day 1F of the partypoker Grand Prix event, and perhaps the most important one of them all. Today we expect the biggest opening flights, and there is a big chance on overlay in this event. At this very moment, including the 216 entries of Day 1F, there would be an overlay of over €330,000!
Although we still have two opening flights left, and late registration is open until 19:15 CET for this current flight, this is the event you want to be at. For a mere € 550, you might just take down one of the greatest events of the year..

We came down to hand-for-hand play and so were all remaining players standing around table number 9 as it was announced two players were all-in. It was Sutero at risk against Giulio di Salvo, who had plenty of chips behind. Sutero saw the bad news when the cards got opened up. His Ace-Jack was way behind against the Ace-King of Di Salvo. [5x][Kx][5x] on the flop and a [2x] on the turn, would make him drawing dead, to become the bubble of this flight.
Day 1e is currently in full swing with 174 entries so far.
We bag up our live blog for today, and will provide you with the full recap of today as soon as possible.
Mike Alonso was all-in during the hand-for-hand play on this opening flight of the Grand Prix event, and was at risk as Dario Pieruzinni made the call . When the cards eventually could be opened up, it was clear that Alonso was in good shape with his Queens, against the pocket 6’s of Pieruzinni. No help came for Dario, and Alonso double up to a healthy, above average, stack.

When you have to deal with very decent players, you can find out pretty easily often. Same goes for Isaia, not too long ago he put himself into the chip lead making a hero call for a huge pot, now he is applying pressure on the shorter stacks as he knows that the end is near, and people just want to survive to Day 2. He is number 6 of the Italian All-Time money list, having a total of $2,878,836 in live career earnings.
Sadly we don’t have pictures of him from this event yet.
Local Hero Mark Vella is running deep as per usual, in a Main Event. From as long as I know him, I only see him making good runs. Will he reward these runs also with a great win? He has at least yet another chance to do this. If he wants to find a bag today, four more players need to bust.
Mark Vella | 235,000 |
Fabio Anobile, from what we know a good online regular, just went out of the tournament when his [Ax][Jx] could not win from 10 J . The board remained 10-high and we lost Anobile, who had taken a lot of initiative throughout the tournament. He was among the chip leaders at some point, but didn’t manage to secure this position in the end.
Level 14: 4,000/8,000/8,000
Players: 40/208
Average: 253,500
9 More players we would need to lose to find the end of this Grand Prix. Players will return in 15 minutes again for the remaining time of this tournament.
The last hand before the break it was Isaia who took a huge chip lead when he called the river push from his opponent after a long time in the tank. He called it off with [Ax][5x], and the board had given an Ace and a King, with a couple of low cards. His opponent showed pocket 3’s, and couldn’t believe the hero call from Isaia and left the table in great disappointment.

Christos Tomas was up against Italian Giulio Gallo. The hand would turn out in a massive cooler.
We arrived at the table when the flop have A 5 J . With approximately 40,000 in the middle already, Gallo had bet 23,000 after the check of Tomas. Tomas decided to make the call, and both saw the 3 on the turn.
Gallo felt that he had something on his hook, and made a powerful bet of 75,000, on which Tomas went into the tank. It took a while, and for me as a writer it was either great theatre play, or he had a real tough cookie to crumble. It would be eventually the last option, as he went all-in after a long while. Gallo had no time to think, as he already opened up his cards after saying the worst word in the eyes of Tomas, ”Call”.
Tomas: A K
Gallo A A
Even Gallo had hit top set, Tomas was still alive drawing to a flush. It wasn’t the case in this fairy-tale, as the river would bring a J , giving a full-house to Gallo.
Level 12: 2,500/5,000/5,000
Players: 57/208
Average: 182,500
Cassette was all-in for his remaining 107,500 and got called by Guiseppe Tarsia, who had around 150,000 in total. When the cards went open, it was a bit surprising as Cassette was still 22 big blinds deep.
Cassette: A 3
Tarsia: 10 10
The board ran out 3 6 J 8 K , which made it happen that Cassette left the room. Not before turned around for a second, as Tarsia was shouting a loud ‘Yessssss’.
Guiseppe Tarsia | 270,000 |
The Italian just took down a pot when his Jacks held up against the King-Queen suited of his opponent. With this win, he is among the top stacks at the moment. With only 63 players remaining, and blinds on 2,000/4,000/4,000, playing around 100 big blinds is a very comfortable position to be in.
Dario Pieruzzzini | 400,000 |
Level 11: 2,000/4,000/4,000
Players: 71/208
Average: 147,000
We are playing down to 31 players remaining today usually.

Last level of the registration available at Day 1d. With 202 entries, and the 89 entries of Day 1e, there is just over half a million Euro in the prize pool at this point. That value is important in poker is known, but will value hunters show up?
In the next break, we will take out notable chip counts. As per usual, we play down to 15% of the field remains.
Not too long ago, Michel Molenaar decided it was time to jump into the Grand Prix event Day 1d. After a runner-up result in the Hydra High Roller yesterday for €49,632, he was ready for yet another battle at the tables. Unfortunately for him, his Ace-King did not hold against his opponents Jack-Ten, and was send early to the cash desk. Where he immediately registered himself for Day 1e, going on upstairs in the main poker room.
Rahal opened up the action and got a 3-bet against him from Flaviano Cammisuli. Without any thoughts he put his chips into the middle, and got an even faster call of the Italian Cammisuli. Rahal had a decent had with Ace-Queen, but was far behind against the Ace-King of Cammisuli, especially when the flop gave [Kx][9x][9x]. Never a hand without a sweat as they say, so the turn was a {Jx], giving Rahal flush- and straight options. Sadly for him the river was a blank.
46 Players already registered for the second opening flight today, Day 1e. And of course, the vast majority is Italian with approximately 80% of the field.
We just received the list of players who qualified themselves through an online opening flight or through one of the previous live opening flights. They will be present on Day 2 of the Grand Prix event, upcoming sunday.
It brings the total amount of entries to over 900.

Hand 1: Allegra opened the action, and got an all-in against him of Hinton. Allegra had Ace-King, Hinton King-Ten, board showed 10 and a King, leaving Allegra cripled.
Hand 2: Allegra all-in for his remaining 2,000 and triples up with Ace-Nine against the blinds.
Hand 3: Caenen opens to 3,600 and gets four players to call. Flop brings A 10 5 , c-bet of the Belgian with one caller left. Turn 10 he checks, Rahal all-in, and got called by Caenen. Caenen sees bad news as he has [Ax][Qx], versus Rahals flopped flush 7 9 . No help on river and Rahal doubles up
Hand 4: We missed the action but Allegra doubled up again!
Hand 5: Hinton opens pre and continues on a King-high flop. Makes a c-bet and everyone folds. Showed the King, and said he had an Ace as well.
Hand 6: Rahal opened action pre, turn check around, Yanigro bets turn, and folds on big river bet of Rahal.
Hand 7: Vella opens, Allegra all-in for 17,000. Vella calls. Ace-Queen for Vella, Kings for Allegra. Turn and River show a Queen. Allegra to the rail!
Hand 8: Yanigro opens the action, big blind Hinto calls. Flop shows K-8-5. C-bet Yanigro and Hinton folds immediatelly showing 7 2 .
Players are now on break!

Interesting to see is that the Maltese players seem to avoid the event, as their attendance remains to a handful of local players. (Not involving the foreigners who reside in Malta)

Up to now, 136 entries were made within 2,5 hours of pure playing time. The vast majority of those, 77 in total, are made by players from Italy. An extraordinary number and for sure it will become even higher when the day progresses.
Besides the € 1M guaranteed Grand Prix Main Event, and the € 5,300 Hydra High Roller event, there was yet another grand event on the schedule with the € 3,000 Millions event.
Scott Wellenbach, Dominik Nitsche, Dzimitry Urbanovich, Matt Staples, and Thomas Clack, were all in the mix, but did not all manage to find a bag on the end of the day. With Day 1b on the schedule today, we are expecting many players of such calibre to return to Portomaso Casino to try and make their way up the ranks, especially since the major events online such as the WCOOP, are quite calm today.

Yesterday on Day 1c of the Grand Prix, a total of 151 entries were made throughout the day. It was eventually the Italian Daniel Montagnolli who bagged up most of the chips, putting him currently in 2nd place overall. The whole flight was quite eventful, with many Italian players all over the place.
We have seen plenty of action at the Portomaso Casino here in Malta, with the Hydra High Roller coming to an end as well. It was eventually Belgian poker pro Bart Lybaert who took down the event, besting Dutchman Michel Molenaar Heads Up. Another Dutch star, perhaps the biggest name out here so far, Teun Mulder, couldn’t get involved the battle as he finished in 4th place.
We are now preparing for perhaps, potentially, the biggest day at the partypoker Millions event until now, with Day 1d and 1e on the schedule. The Millions tournament also has its second opening flight scheduled, where will see interesting names passing by for sure.
Here are the chip counts for the Grand Prix Day 1c:

The late registration period has finished, and so are we going down to the final 15% of the field. All players who will bag and tag on the end of the day, will be in the money in this event.
There are still quite some players who need to bust until we reach the end of Day 1c though, we will keep you posted in the morning with all the chip counts of the remaining players.
Day 1 of the PokerListings Live Blog is hereby done for today.
Also the Hydra High Roller, which has currently 9 players left still will play down towards the money has been reached.
Level 8: 1,000/2,000/2,000
Players: 88/137
Average: 77,841
We just finished level 7, soon we will enter the last 3 blind levels of the late registration period, after this break. The entry counter shows us now 136, but will increase perhaps a bit more today. What we didn’t consider in the beginning, but did know about, is that also a bunch of players qualified themselves online for the 2nd day of the Grand Prix event this Sunday. We are coming back on this topic later on.
Country | Player Name | Chip Count |
---|---|---|
SCHULTZ RICO | 120,000 | |
SANCHEZ ADAM | 155,000 | |
COMITINI GIACOMO | 125,000 | |
COHEN ERAN | 140,000 |
We arrive on table #2, where Ivonne Montealegre is sitting as well. We didn’t see the action before, but we could see the player in UTG position was all-in for 48,100 and got a call from his neighbour, who had chips behind as well. The player in the button tanked for a while but then decided to fold, having said to have a decent pair thrown into the muck.
When the cards had to be opened, Georgiadis showed surprisingly K 3 , and was behind against the Queens from his neighbour.
Luckily for Georgiadis, a King appeared directly in the window, and managed to hold all the way. It’s a double up for player from Cyprus.
MARINOS GEORGIADIS | 100,000 |
Perhaps not one of the most fanciest hands of poker history, but Gallo just busted out a player when being way ahead with his [Qx][Ax] against [Qx][9x] of his opponent. It went all-in on a Q-high flop, and with two lower cards than the nine completing the board, Gallo could add the whole pot to his stack.
GIULIO GALLO | 75,000 |
We arrived at table 9 when there was already around 20,000 in the middle. Merendino put out a heavy bet of 20,500 on a Q 3 10 flop. On which Montagnolli, which sounds Italian as well, but Austrian on paper, put all his chips into the middle. He got quickly called as it wasn’t that much more as the initial raise of Merendino.
Merendino K Q
Montagnolli K K
The turn came A giving plenty of shoppertunities, and with the J on the river, both players made a straight. Merendino laughed out loud and Montagnolli must have cried a bit from inside. On to the next!
Level 5: 400/800/800
Players: 94/109
Average: 58,000
Starting Stack: 50,000
Like in all starting stages of an opening flight, it is going slowly forward. 15 Players bust so far, and the counter tells us: 109 entries. Surely, it will increase as we still have another five levels of late registration after the current blind level.
Some of the players mentioned below, are currently in the lead of this flight.
Country | Player Name | Chip Counts |
---|---|---|
MERENDINO SALVATORE | 130,000 | |
KUDRAVETS YAHOR | 82,000 | |
FORSMAN JOHN | 78,000 | |
DRAY SAMUEL | 90,000 | |
SIMONE ALFONSO | 130,000 |
At this very moment, the 13 remaining players of the Hydra High Roller are on a well-deserved break. With only 6 players in the money, and a min cash of roughly € 15,000, there is a long way ahead still. Michel Molenaar, who also won the high roller at the PokerStars Summer Festival not too long ago here in Malta for € 53,440, is having the chip lead at the moment. Bart Lybaert and Teun Mulder just behind him.

Look who we have here! Ivonne Montealegre is warming up for her own event, later this month in Malta. The Malta Poker Festival, a similar event to the partypoker Grand Prix, but with a slightly lower guaranteed prize pool, is already for almost a decade one of Maltese eye-catchers of the poker industry. It’s one of these grand events, which puts Malta on the radar of many poker players all around the world.
Ivonne is a big factor in Europe’s poker environment. With the effort of such people, the industry keeps growing, and tournaments will grow to new dimensions, like never seen before.
Previously during the partypoker Millions, she participated in the Ladies Event, one of her main goals in todays’ poker.
Adam Owen is another familiar face in the poker industry, which prioritizes the partypoker Millions above any other event going on this week such as the WCOOP, WSOP Online, and WSOPC Rozvadov.
With over $3,5M in total career live earnings, he is currently #26 on England’s All-Time Money List. Today he is playing Day 1c of the Grand Prix event, trying to build momentum, so he can bag a nice stack for Day 2, upcoming Sunday.
Level 3: 200/400/400
Players: 88/92
Dario Barone from Italy decided today to try his luck in Day 1c. If you look back on his results the last couple months in Malta, you can see that he is doing very well for himself.
He is a man on a mission, let’s see if we will see him back in the later stages of this Grand Prix event.
Date | Tournament Name | Place | Prize |
---|---|---|---|
May 16th | The Festival Series – €550 Main Event | 4th | € 20,300 |
June 1st | Battle of Malta – €600 Main Event | 1st | € 156,500 |
During the first two opening flights, a total of 430 entries were made. Today, on Day 1c, we are expecting a decent amount of entries. Currently, 37 players are already registered, and with the late registration available for the first 10 levels of each 40-minutes, it will increase rapidly.
50,000 Chips will be the starting stack, and everyone will be looking to top Argentinian Jacques Blit, who ended up with 1,226,000 chips in an earlier opening flight.
Good Luck to all the players!
In one hour the Grand Prix event will kick off with Day 1c, and in the mean time we try to keep you updated about the Hydra High Roller. It is safe to say, that the players from the Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxemburg), are dominating the field. With 19 players remaining, 5 of them are Dutch, and one of them is Belgian.
These are the players who are currently leading the pack:
Buy-in: € 5.300
Total Prize Pool: € 211.200,00
Place | Prize | Percentage |
---|---|---|
# 1 | € 72,864.00 | 34.50% |
# 2 | € 49,632.00 | 23.50% |
# 3 | € 31,680.00 | 15.00% |
# 4 | € 24,288.00 | 11.50% |
# 5 | € 17,952.00 | 8.50% |
# 6 | € 14,784.00 | 7.00% |
We have five more players who registered themselves before the start of Day 2 of the High Roller event. This brings the total to 44 entries, of which currently 31 are left in contest. They all play for a share of the € 211.200,00 prize pool. The pay outs are not revealed yet, so we will keep you posted about that later on.
