Welcome to the final day of the PokerListings' coverage of the €500,000 guaranteed partypoker Championship (PPC) €550 Main Event at the luxurious Portomaso Casino.
The action is down to just 15 hopefuls, each guaranteed at least a €5,500 payout with their eyes on the coveted trophy and the massive €81,000 top prize.
Italy's Massimo Rossi will kick things off with the chip lead after bagging 3,570,000 in chips on Day 2. His fellow countrymate Federico Petruzzelli ended the day in second place with a stack of 2,390,000 with China's Jingchun Yu (2,380,000), United Kingdom's Oliver Hutchins (2,165,000), and Poland's Mariusz Lewoniewski (2,005,000) rounding out the top five.
The action is scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. with the final 12 minutes of Level 31 with blinds at 30,000/60,000 along with a big blind ante of 60,000. After this level, blinds will increase every 40 minutes until the final table is reached when they increase every hour.
