Fortune Wheel Spin to Win

What’s better than hitting the Fastforward poker tables at partypoker when you have your next session? The answer is: hitting the Fastforward tables when there are special daily Leaderboards to get stuck into and prizes to win!

The best thing about real money online poker is that there tends to be something ‘extra’ to take advantage of, thus adding a bit more incentive and reward to proceedings. Consequently, if your favourite is Texas Hold’em or Omaha cash games, for example, here you have the perfect set-up.

What Is Fastforward Poker?

Are you a cash games fan who prefers not to wait around too long after you’ve folded your cards for the remaining players to finish the hand? The Fastforward format is designed with you in mind, because instead of the usual one-table scenario, you’re placed in a pool of players at the same stakes, and moved to a new table as soon as you’re out of a hand. You can even fold out of turn (the other players won’t know this, because for them you’ll still show as waiting to act) and be immediately dealt in on the new table … NO waiting around!

Stakes at Fastforward tables cater for all bankrolls, so there’s $0.01/$0.02 all the way up to $5/$10 for the big hitters. Fastforward tables are also available in Hold’em and Omaha formats.

As well as being able to rack up loyalty points quicker thanks to playing more hands due to not having to wait for new hands to start, you can also make the most of Fastforward Leaderboards via which over P$1,000 is paid out in prizes every single day! Important: Only players with a current cashback boost of over 30% are eligible for this promotion.

‘Build it, and they will come’ was the famous line in Kevin Costner’s 1989 classic, Field of Dreams. The same could certainly be said for real money online poker where, not long after the world was presented with the facility to play poker via the internet, people did indeed come – in massive numbers.

It’s now been a couple of decades or so since the online poker phenomenon first appeared, and operators such as PokerStars – arguably the godfather of the industry – continually manage to demonstrate that poker fans will do more nowadays than just log in. It’s a great feature of poker today that, if you organise prestigious live events, many online poker tournament players will indeed come! By successfully providing affordable online qualifiers for major megabucks live tour events, PokerStars has given players the chance to get the most they can from poker.

The recent European Poker Tour (EPT) Main Event in Paris is a typical example that serves to give us confidence in the current climate of online poker. Held at the inviting Hyatt Paris Regency Etoile, the tournament ultimately attracted 1,606 entries which, as well as being the largest field for a new EPT destination, was the sixth largest PokerStars EPT Main Event in history.

Razvan Belea. EPT Paris 2023 Main Event Winner.

Incidentally, Razvan Belea of Romania was the deserved winner, with the online qualifier’s inspired powerhouse performance earning him a €1,170,000 reward for emerging victorious. The 34-year-old had this to say of his life-changing win: “This is unreal. It’s all I’ve ever dreamed of since I started playing poker.” It’s worth noting that the runner-up, Sweden’s Peter Jorgne, was playing only his second live event, having first tasted bricks & mortar poker just last year at the EPT in Barcelona. Poker truly is a game for all, with limitless possibilities!

The high level of interest provided the organisers with food for thought regarding practicalities for future EPT events (keep tuning into PokerListings for updates). All of this augurs well for the future. We’ll leave the closing words to Cedric Billot, Head of Live Events Global Operations for PokerStars: “We are really pleased to bring live poker to Paris with the EPT and FPS events. We saw vast numbers and experienced some extremely exciting and impressive poker… Following a difficult start to the festival, we reviewed and improved queuing processes ensuring that the end of the event ran very smoothly.”

That’s what we expect from PokerStars, which has a well-established roster of tournaments of all shapes and sizes but also has something for everyone. Texas Hold’em and Omaha cash tables at all stakes abound, while you’ll also find a variety of Sit & Go games and much more…

In recent weeks you have been able to read the introduction of Banco Casino on our website. Located in beautiful Bratislava, in the western part of Slovakia, this astonishing casino is the Valhalla of today’s recreational poker circuit. We’re going to go into a bit more detail about the upcoming poker events this time so that each of you knows exactly when to book your trip. PokerListings had already visited this epic location back in October 2022, when The Festival Series took place and got their name in the record books by providing the biggest 1st prize prize in Slovakian poker history with €126.650 for the eventual winner Michel Molenaar!

Polish Poker Days: March 3-13 (Guaranteed €350.000)

For the fifth time in the history of Banco Casino in Bratislava, a horde of Polish poker players show up for a real Polish Poker Series. In addition, the brothers of the casino in Bratislava, the one in Kosice, also organized two such events. The last event, back in November 2022, saw a record breaking 3,630 player registrations.

In 2023, Banco Casino partnered up once again with ‘LegalnyPoker.pl‘, for an amazing week full of poker. What to think of the €120 Main Event with €200,000 Guaranteed, or a €20,000 Guaranteed Mystery Bounty tournament, or the High-Roller with a guaranteed prize pool of €25,000, in one word: ‘Awesome’.

Additionally, the first annual Polish Roulette & Blackjack Championship will take place. If that’s not all, there will also be a special ‘Polish show’ planned, with famous guests all over Poland.

Find below the full schedule of the upcoming Polish Poker Days – A true paradise for every recreational player:

PPD Schedule.

Cyprus Series of Poker: March 14-20 (Guaranteed €250.000)

The attractive Cyprus Series Of Poker will make its debut in the Bratislava poker scene at Banco Casino in 2023, where the Main Event with a buy-in of €250 and with a guarantee of €250.000 will be the headliner of the week. The CSOP, which stands for excellence and tons of action, will also include a High-Roller, and plenty of one-day events with a guarantee of €50.000! Besides all the tournament action, the Cash Game zone will also be fully packed throughout the week, as a horde of Cypriot players will try to keep the title of the CSOP in their own country.

Find the schedule below:

Special Banco Casino Masters: April 17-24 (Guaranteed €250.000)

As the name suggests, Banco Casino also has its own real poker series in its range. This wonderfully organized event was recently held in January. In the 3rd week of April it is hit again. Last edition, the Main Event had 2420 entrants, a staggering turnout for a €170 buy-in.

In April, during the 33rd edition of Slovakia’s largest regular poker tournament, there is also room for a High-Roller with a guaranteed prize pool of €20,000 and plenty of side-events and Cash Game action packed with bonuses.

Banco Masters.

Tana Delle Tigre Main Event: May 1-7 (Guaranteed €200.000)

This famous event, with Italian roots, has a rich past with Slovakia. Although it’s been five years since Tana Delle Tigre was hosted at the Banco Casino, it’s back this time for a €250 Main Event with a guaranteed prize pool of €200,000!

This tournament series, for which CDS events has joined forces with Banco Casino, will be assured of a lot of Italian input in the field of players and has sufficient side events such as a High-Roller and a Mystery-Bounty event. The question is, how often will ”Il Canto degli Italiani” be heard through the speakers in Bratislava?

The schedule is yet to be released. But nevertheless, it is going to be promised a week full of action for every player worldwide.

When trying to explain the ins and outs of real money online poker to the uninitiated, the problem is always how to get across the numbers. Every year at the World Series of Poker, for example, more money is paid out in prizes than is won at several prestigious ‘major’ sporting events put together (think Wimbledon, the tennis and golf US Opens and other famous sporting occasions).

Ironically, even when we can put it all into context, the amount of money that circulates around the global online economy is still astounding. A good example of a regular, continuous promotion that at the same time pays out vast sums is the monthly $10M Giveaway at GGPoker where, true to form, this innovative world leader manages to keep its many players both entertained while giving them plenty of chances to boost their bankroll while they play.

Whether it’s Texas Hold’em and Omaha cash games you’re into, Sit & Go games in their various formats or online poker tournaments you’ll find a feast of fun at GGPoker. And as far as the $10M Giveaway is concerned, the reason why you can take advantage of this fantastic promotion is because, here too, there’s something for everyone.

This isn’t your everyday, humdrum promotion where you might need to spend time playing one specific game to eke out a bonus. Oh, no… the March $10M Giveaway – as is the case every month of the year – features a total of 12(!) individual promos that, on their own, would still be head and shoulders above so many other offerings. Just look at the numbers above, for example – $25,000 up for grabs every day of the month ($800,000 in total!) for Rush & Cash fans alone via daily Leaderboards, and $100,000 to be won daily in special Flipouts.

As well as providing Omaha specialists, for instance, with plenty of games to choose from, the juicy Leaderboards give those with less experience extra incentive to broaden their poker horizons. It’s the kind of win-win environment that helps keep the whole eco-system going.

So – if you haven’t yet become part of the GGPoker family, sign up today and take advantage of the latest new player bonuses and offers.

Good luck at the tables, and have fun!

There’s a lot going on at GGPoker in March. Of course, there’s a lot going on at GGPoker all the time – that’s why real money online poker is such a rewarding prospect for poker fans, with no shortage of action and accompanying goodies on offer.

Keep tuned into PokerListings for GGPoker updates this month, and in the meantime we bring you news of a promotion that will run throughout out March. The $300K Giftbox does exactly what it says on the tin, as they say (or, in this case, the box…). The idea is to provide many prizes for many players via a Leaderboard, with prizes going to the ‘top’ 1,500!

And it couldn’t be easier to take part. Simply play in any GGPoker or WSOP Spring Circuit tournament during March and you’re good to go, with prizes to win every day of the month!

Leaderboard points are calculated based on tournament performance, using the prize pool, relative rank (finishing position) and number of entrants as the criteria. The more events you play, the more points you can rack up and, with gift boxes up for grabs every day, it’s a promotion that’s well worth being part of.And you don’t need to be an online poker tournament specialist to take advantage…

The top 100 players on each daily Leaderboard will be rewarded with a $30 gift box that includes:

  • $10 Spin & Gold Ticket
  • $10 Battle Royale Ticket
  • $10 of C$

Meanwhile, those finishing in places 101-300 will receive a $10 gift box that features a $3 Battle Royale Ticket, a $3 Spin & Gold Ticket and $4 of C$ (C$ – Cash Game Dollars – are GGPoker’s convenient currency that can be used to buy into cash games). Finally, even if you ‘just’ scrape into the top 1,500 you’ll be credited with a $4 gift box.

Leaderboards run daily from 00:00 – 23:59 (UTC -8). All GGPoker and WSOP tournaments are applicable, while private tournaments, Flip & Go, GGCare, Spin & Gold, Battle Royale and Satellites do not count. Note that all tickets will be deleted within 90 days of being awarded, and unused tickets cannot be exchanged for cash or T$.

When a golf hobbyist goes overseas to play their favourite sport, it’s for a holiday, and (usually) has to be paid for. Fortunately for recreational poker players, however, real money online poker affords us countless opportunities to win our way to major events in foreign lands. Whether we consider these trips to be holidays or business depends on how serious we are, but the point here is that via online poker we can find ourselves jetting off all over the place, to prestigious big money events for the price of a coffee (or less…).

WPT Global might have appeared on the scene only last year, but the online poker (and gaming) platform for the World Poker Tour (WPT) is already a veritable presence. Reputation is key, of course, so perhaps it’s no surprise that so many players across the more than 100 countries and dependencies have flocked in large numbers to the site to enjoy Texas Hold’em and Omaha cash games, Sit & Go games, online poker tournaments and more. Check out – for example – how WPT Global topped the cash game poker network charts last year!

Another, very significant, string to the WPT Global bow is how their hosting bankroll-friendly qualifying set-ups to some of the most exciting poker festivals around the world. The latest campaign is designed to give players continuous chances to win $1,500 WPT Prime Passports to a packed series of events in 2023, with the Tour having scheduled stops in a number of popular tourist destinations.

This list includes Slovakia’s capital, Bratislava, where the Main Event will take place 11-15 May at the impressive Card Casino… Bratislava is famous for many things. Standing on the majestic Danube River, the picturesque city whose nicknames include Little Big City and Beauty on the Danube boasts the Bratislava Castle, a charming Old Town, the UFO Bridge(!) and is unusual in being a capital city that shares borders with Austria and Hungary! Furthermore, Bratislava attracts many poker players as it has a deserved reputation as major venue city, so if you win a package you’ll find yourself in good hands.

WPT Global WPT Live Qualifiers.

And how can you win a $1,500 WPT Prime Passport? Make a note in your diary to set aside time for the $110 Passport Qualifiers that are being held every Saturday (2:00pm ET) and Sunday (6:00pm ET). This is a poker-for-everyone qualifying schedule, remember, so make the most of Feeder satellites running through the week that feature buy-ins at just $5!

The current list of WPT Prime Events that you can win a package for looks like this:

  • Amsterdam, Netherlands, 29 March – 1April
  • Bratislava, Slovakia: 11-15 May
  • Hanoi, Vietnam: 25-29 May
  • San Remo, Italy: 1-11 June

If you’ve yet to experience live poker tournaments this is the perfect introduction, so get your poker face ready, brush off your passport and prepare for battle in WPT live feature events in Bratislava…

Good luck at the tables, and have fun!

Every hour of every day, throughout the year, you’ll find that real money online poker isn’t only a non-stop global machine, but we’re so spoilt for choice with the enormous menu on offer that it’s often difficult to know how to spend our poker time. The scale of the industry, with countless poker rooms all competing for their share of the collective pie – and, therefore, maximising their offering to cover all potential bases – means that choosing at which tables to sit can be quite bewildering.

There’s Texas Hold’em and Omaha cash tables, Sit & Go games of various formats and, of course, online poker tournaments to get involved in. With the latter in mind, we can break ‘tournaments’ down even further, and one interesting category is satellites and other qualifiers. Whether it’s winning our way to packages to ‘live’ events around the globe or qualifying for various higher buy-in online tournaments, it can be a problem working out if satellites are worth our time and effort. Playing in a tournament with a sizeable field at least gives us a bunch of prizes to aim for, whereas satellites might offer only a limited number of ‘tickets’ – even just one!

Americas Cardroom is one online operator that has come up with a player-friendly solution to this problem in the form of so-called Blitz Satellites, which has been designed to speed up an often time-consuming qualifying process. Indeed, this novel approach enables players at ACR to earn places in various events and tournaments that might otherwise be beyond their bankroll quicker and easier than usual.

Americas Cardroom. Chair, money, and crown.

How It Works

Blitz Poker satellites allow players to advance through six levels to win tickets to big events. Unlike regular satellites, it’s not necessary to reach a final table or win a qualifying tournament to earn tickets. Regardless of which of the six levels you buy into, you advance to the next phase simply by earning 5,000 chips. Once you reach this target, it’s onward and upward – no need to battle away to finish in the top few players.

And if you finish with over 5,000 chips you can move on to the next level AND be seated again at the same level with your extra chips! For example, let’s say you win a 9,000-chip pot. First, you get a ticket for the next level, but you’ll also be automatically reseated at the same level you bought in for with those extra 4,000 chips, with the chance of winning all over again, and so on…

FOR THE WIN

A great touch that makes ACR’s Blitz satellites really stand out is the FOR THE WIN feature. We often find ourselves having almost achieved this or that target, only for the proverbial wheels to drop off and we fall at the final hurdle. Thanks to FOR THE WIN, you can avoid such an annoying banana skin. An indicator shows the cash value of your chip stack towards reaching the next level, and by clicking on the FOR THE WIN button you can pay for the difference and the ticket is yours.

It will be interesting to see in what way other online poker rooms follow the example of Americas Cardroom regarding the satellite process…

The gigantic, ever-evolving eco-system that is real money online poker is a wonder to behold. When painting a picture of the world of online poker to someone who isn’t acquainted with it, it’s difficult to get across the sheer scale of the industry. Both the amount of money that’s paid out week after week and the numbers involved in terms of those who play can be mind-boggling – even to poker fans themselves. Think of just one promotion or tournament series at just one poker provider, and the uninitiated could be forgiven for believing that this is ‘the’ big event of the year, when in fact it’s a regular occurrence that is seen across a host of poker operators. One such is currently underway at partypoker and, impressively, has so much going on we couldn’t fit everything into one article.

The €2,000,000 POWERFEST continues until 15 March, and is much more than ‘just’ an online poker tournament series. There’s a bucketload of promotions involved during the action-packed event.

POWERFEST Promos

  • Daily Leaderboards: Hit Leaderboard points target by playing POWERFEST events and earn MTT tickets
  • Deposit Bonus: Deposit using bonus code ‘PF2023’ and receive 100% extra up to €100 and a €3 POWERFEST SPINS ticket
  • SPINS POWERFEST: Enjoy special alternative versions of traditional SPINS games that award POWERFEST tickets instead of cash

Mystery Wheel

For every player that you eliminate in selected daily POWERFEST events you’ll win a spin on the Mystery Wheel, which for each new spin feature guaranteed prizes up to 50 Tournament Euros!

With so much on offer in the POWERFEST until mid-March, partypoker deserves credit for going above and beyond in their quest to give poker fans plenty of incentive. It would be easy to simply lay on a selection of tournaments, but by coming up with various extras – including, for example, incorporating SPINS games – this leading, player-friendly online poker provider enhances the overall experience.

With 12 events in the books after the first week of action in 888poker’s Mystery Bounty Festival, the games are slightly above the pre-series expectations.

It has been all mystery, all the time for the past week on 888poker as the Mystery Bounty (MB) Festival got underway on Sunday, Feb 19th. After the first seven days of action, the total prizes so far are more than $365k, about $25k higher than the guarantees so far.

Not all games have hit their guarantees, but the majority ended up with more money than promised. Seven of the twelve games so far have beat their guarantee with five games missing the mark.

More than 10,000 entries have been recorded across the games running to date made up from 7,303 unique entries with 2,835 rebuys. The biggest game so far was actually the first one which saw more than 2,500 total entries including rebuys. That was the only game with more than 1,500 entries as Event #4 came in at second place with 1,488.

Saliba Goes Deep in Event #1

The opening event in this series was the biggest one so far in terms of field size, getting a whopping 2,581 total entries. The meant 29.05% extra in the prize pool over and above the $20k guarantee on the $11 event.

Team888's Vivian “Vivi.888.” Saliba.
Team888’s Vivian “Vivi.888.” Saliba

Team888’s Vivian “Vivi.888.” Saliba had a great start to the series with a deep run in the opening event. She pocketed a bit more than $4,000 in bounties and prizes for fourth place.

Other players to cash in the big $120k event were:

  • 888poker’s Ian “Simpioni” Simpson (39th place for $186 plus $103.96 in bounties)
  • avidiu_maciu” (38th place for $186 plus $1,015.85 in bounties)
  • WalnutPix” (20th place for $306 plus $703.96 in bounties)
  • Nicolas “PKaiser” Fierro (15th place for $528 plus $727.72 in bounties)
  • Final table bubble “Chera2283” (10th place for $684 plus $1,639.61 in bounties)

That opening event was not only the biggest field so far, but also the best increase on guarantee with its $25,810 prize pool. One other game came pretty close, however, with 28.95% extra in prizes. The $55 MB Festival #12 saw 469 entries for $25,795 in total prizes.

Neither of those was the biggest prize pool so far – that honor goes to the $109 MB Festival #03 which had a guarantee of $120,000. The game had a respectable turnout of more than 1,000 entries, but ended up missing the guarantee by about 14%, leaving about $16k of overlay in the game.

That was by far the worst miss so far and in total, the missed guarantees in the first week amounted to barely $20k in total overlay. With almost $30k in fees collected through the series so far however, the games are still running a profit.

Big Games Yet to Come

The biggest game on the schedule, the $150,000 guaranteed Event #18, has been playing Day 1 flights throughout the festival so far, and Day 2 plays out on Feb 27. Day 1 flights are still active on the 27th before Day 2 begins.

The final weekend of the festival features a $50k guaranteed Mar 5 and several $20k guarantees during the final week.

Here at PokerListings we tend to concentrate on current and imminent online poker bonuses and offers and, in turn, strive to provide regular updates and so on. However, some events in the world of real money online poker are so big that they need maximum pre-exposure. Some online poker rooms are ‘bigger’ than others, and one such is PokerStars who – as well all know – don’t do anything in half measures.

In a way, PokerStars makes it hard to come up with ‘bigger and better’ events because not only do they already host the biggest and best online poker tournaments – both in scale and prize pools – but they do so regularly. Take the Sunday Million fixture, for instance. This is simultaneously a weekly tournament that we almost take for granted, yet generates prize pools and pays out life-changing sums in line with the Millions in the tournament name.

How can they top that? Well, this is PokerStars, after all, and it wouldn’t anyway be real money online poker if, in a bid to demonstrate a point, this leading operator didn’t take a megabucks event and make it even more mega…

So, you can expect Sunday 26 March to be unlike previous Sundays because it’s the day PokerStars will celebrate 17 years of this weekly major with a special Sunday Million Anniversary edition of the tournament.

Golden PokerStars Logo.

As if to almost downplay the fact that they guarantee millions in prize money Sunday after Sunday, PokerStars will be upping the stakes for this anniversary bash to an amazing $7.5 Million Guaranteed prize pool! This figure being so high in turn enables them to guarantee a top prize of $1 Million – win the event, and you become a millionaire literally overnight…

And whatever your bankroll, this headline event is accessible to all. You can either buy in for $215 or take advantage of a plethora of qualifiers in a set-up that includes Freerolls(!), Feeders, regular qualifiers and Spin & Go games, as well as additional value being offered in extra satellites.

The saying goes that ‘all roads lead to Rome’ but, in this case, you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to getting a seat for this must-play event.

Good luck qualifying, and have fun at the tables!

*Any mention of a bonus or discussion of such terms is not in relation to the province of Ontario.

When we first get involved in real money online poker one of the milestones that we strive for is to find ourselves sitting at a final table. Anyone who plays in online poker tournaments continues to dream about this very experience, and rightly so. Whether it’s a big money tournament, low buy-in event or a Freeroll, navigating your way through the ups and inevitable downs to find a path to the final table is always going to be an achievement.

It should come as no surprise to many that at GGPoker – considered by many to be the most player-friendly online poker room – the playing conditions, features and options change considerably once the competition reaches the final table stage.

Here are the key Final Table features at GGPoker:

  • Switch Seats
    • This new twist allows you to switch seats
  • Deal Making
    • A fairer prize distribution using the ICM method
  • Chess Clock
    • A set time limit creates a more dynamic game pace
  • Blind Rollback
    • Tweaking the Blinds makes for a better gameplay experience when it matters

These changes kick in once the in-the-money (ITM) phase becomes the Final Table stage. Note that Final Table features do not apply to Freeroll, Satellite and T$ Builder tournaments.

Let’s look at GGPoker’s Final Table experience in more detail:

Switching seats

Before the final table starts, players are given the opportunity to select which seats they would like to sit at, and are given 10 seconds to make their choice. A nice touch is that players make their selections in reverse order of chip counts, so that the player with the smallest stack gets first choice, then the next smallest stack, and so on.

GGPoker. Final Table deal making.

Deal Making

Deal making is a common practice at final tables. Anything can happen in poker, and it’s absolutely possible that a chip leader can be eliminated in just a couple of hands, while the shortest stack can be catapulted to top spot in minutes. That’s poker! With this in mind, deal making can be a preferred option.

Online poker makes the process very easy for everyone, with no problematic horse-trading necessary. Selecting the Deal button in the top right brings up the agreement pop-up (if you wish to cancel, simply click the button again and select ‘Cancel Deal Reservation’).

All players must accept a deal for it to be finalized, after which the prizes are awarded and normal play is resumed to determine final rankings for Tournament Point (TP) purposes.

The Independent Chip Model (ICM) is used and the process is automatic, being calculated according to current chips stacks in order to ensure fair distribution (other methods can produce payout suggestions that can be difficult to agree on).

Blind Interval

This is an interesting one. Once the Final Table Features are activated, the Blind level will change so that, instead of time increments, the Blind levels will be based on hand counts (number of hands dealt). Note that the number of hand counts per blinds may differ for each tournament.

Chess Clock

A Chess Clock is used to allocate a set amount of thinking time to each player. In this Final Table context it works as follows:

  • During pre-flop there is a 30 second action time. However, a player can use a time extension button to use any remaining Chess Clock time.
  • After the Flop there’s no need to select this option, and the remaining Chess Clock time can be used.
  • Once the Chess Clock expires, the player has only 5 seconds per turn to make a decision.
  • Each player’s total Chess Clock time will be a combination of the remaining tournament time bank and the average value of Tournament M
  • M is calculated as follows: (Chip Total of all players) / (Small Blind + Big Blind + Total Ante) / Number of Players
  • The maximum and minimum Chess Clock values are 15 minutes and 1 minute respectively.

Blind Rollback

In some tournaments with 100 or more entries the Blind level may be automatically amended once the Final Table stage is reached. This is to ensure a better gameplay experience. For example, if the average chip stack is less than 40 Big Blinds (BB), the Blind level will be rolled back so that the average stack is at least 40 BB for the first hand played. Note that the Blinds may roll back multiple levels if required. The aim is to make sure that, after having achieved a place at the Final Table, players can have more play in the fight for the prizes. Finally, Blind levels may also be rolled forward so that the average stack is no more than 100 BB.

So, there you have it! Not only does GGPoker have a deserved reputation for coming up with player-friendly features generally, but they’ve also put a great deal of effort into optimising and enhancing the Final Table experience!

Good luck at the tables, and have fun!

It tends to be the case with real money online poker that, depending on which stage we’re at in our career, certain aspects of an operator’s offering will be more useful than others, and vice versa. Poker rooms, of course, need to cover all bases, so they endeavour to create an overall experience from which this or that player can cherry pick the best bits (for them).

Given that everyone is a beginner at some point, it’s imperative to cater for those players who lack experience. Whether you’re happy staying as a pure hobbyist or looking to develop your game with a view to rising up the ranks, free-to-enter and low buy-in online poker tournaments are the way to go, and Americas Cardroom has made a special effort.

There’s no shortage of bankroll-friendly tournaments available for inexperienced and recreational players at ACR and, should you wish to step up a gear or two, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to chance your arm at bigger tournaments with affordable buy-ins.

Let’s take this coming weekend (25-26 February) as an example of the number of cheap – or free! – tournaments in which to get involved. Not only are there 18 tournaments over the two days with buy-ins of between $1 and $10 but, in addition, you’ll find 15 Freerolls/Freebuys, too!

Freezeouts, standard and Bounty formats are just a few of the tournament types from which to choose, and whether you prefer Texas Hold’em or Omaha (or play both) you won’t be disappointed. Note that the selection of Freerolls and Freebuys (so-called because after the initial free buy-in you can rebuy and sometimes add on chips for a nominal fee) deserves a special mention, as these also include satellites in which tickets toward, for example, the $50,000 Sunday Squeeze can be won.

Americas cardroom Online Super Series.

Meanwhile, it’s not too late to jump into ACR’s Online Super Series which, overall, will pay out an amazing $25,000,000 by the time the dust has settled on 28 February. Buy-ins start at just $3.30 which, once again for this popular online poker room, is a great affordable-to-all approach. Indeed, this is typified in the Small, Medium and Large buy-in set-up (but no ‘small’ prize pools!).

You still have time to take advantage of a packed and great value feeder/qualifier schedule for (amongst others) the following Multiflight Events:

  • $22 buy-in, $150,000 GTD: Day 1 Flights from 26 February, Day 2 on 26 February
  • $630 buy-in, $2 Million GTD: Day 1 Flights until 27 February, Day 2 on 27 February
  • $215 buy-in, $1 Million GTD: Day 1 Flights from 27 February, Day 2 on 27 February

Good luck, and have fun at the tables!

Over 165 canals that are more than 400 years old, coffee shops, tulips, the Rijksmuseum, clogs… Amsterdam is famous for all sorts of reasons (I have to also include the popular Dutch delicacy, stroopwafels).

Thanks to WPT Global living up to its name by bridging the gap between real money online poker and ‘live’ events, you could be experiencing the many delights that the Bicycle Capital of the World has to offer by winning an exclusive WPT Poker Passport to a prestigious World Poker Tour (WPT) event in this popular European city.

Interestingly, Amsterdam has quite a history with the WPT, which first stopped there for a main tour event during Season XIV back in 2015. As for the host this time (29 March – 1 April), the aptly named Holland Casino is one of the most respected poker venues in Europe.

Since 2015, the WPT has revisited the city that is home to the Van Gogh Museum seven times, and this will be the fourth main tour stop.

Every Saturday (2:00pm ET) and Sunday (6:00pm ET) there are $110 Passport Qualifiers in which you can win a $1,500 USD WPT Prime Passport. And you can take advantage of feeder satellites through the week, with buy-ins as low as $5! Note that if you can’t make Amsterdam, you can use your passport to attend a different WPT event.

Other stops scheduled thus far include:

  • Bratislava, Slovakia: 11-15 May
  • Hanoi, Vietnam: 25-29 May
  • San Remo, Italy: 1-11 June

Of course, it would be great to trot around the globe playing in these fantastic live poker tournaments and, to this end, WPT Global are allowing players to win more than one Passport. However, for those who do manage multiple wins, if you travel to the first one you’ll then get the choice between using your other Passports for subsequent WPT live feature events or, should you prefer, exchanging them for WPT Global online tournament tickets of your choice instead.

WPT Global mobile applications.

WPT Global is certainly an online poker room worth adding to your list of favourites. It’s especially impressive given that it’s been around only since 2022, but we have to remember that, as the online platform of the WPT, there’s a rich history and considerable status backing it up. As well as being a worthy stop for tournaments and for ways to qualify for big money live events, WPT Global also provides Texas Hold’em and Omaha cash, Sit & Go games and much more…

Good luck at the tables, and have fun!

How does this sound – a series of online poker tournaments with buy-ins that start at just €0.50 and €2,000,000 in combined guaranteed prize money? This is exactly what poker fans in Spain and France can look forward to when making the most of partypoker’s aptly named POWERFEST

Running from 26 February right through to 15 March, this feast of tournaments and promotions really is a perfect example of the gift that keeps on giving. Indeed, such events are what real money online poker is all about.

First, let’s have a look at some of the tournament highlights.

A bankroll-friendly approach that has become an admirable feature at partypoker is being repeated once again for the POWERFEST, with the hosting of three separate Main Events that feature different buy-in levels in order to cater for all would-be champions:

  • High: €125 buy-in, €250K GTD
  • Medium: €30 buy-in, €100K GTD
  • Low: €5 buy-in, €50K GTD

Note that the Low edition is low in terms of buy-in only, as €50K GTD is a prize pool worthy of much more costly tournaments.

Meanwhile, there’s so much more to dive into during POWERFEST:

  • 26 February: The Big 10 PKO is a fun event with a guaranteed €25,000 on offer as well as 20 €50 Surprise Packages added for various finishing positions!
  • 4 Championships events throughout the Series.
  • New Deepstack and Turbo PKO Championships.
  • The Openers.
  • The PLOpener.
  • The Closers.
  • The Twins – with an added bonus for making a double final table.

Not only will the Championships punctuate the festival with events being held over several days, but the buy-ins will range from €3 to €250. Furthermore, having taken into account feedback from players, partypoker will be adjusting the structure of some events in order to have finishing times that are more convenient.

Finally, this being poker for all, Omaha fans will get a kick out of three Progressive PLO Knockout Main Events: €50 buy-in/€20,000 GTD, €10 buy-in/€10,000 GTD and €3 buy-in/€3,000 GTD!

Daily Leaderboards

As if there wasn’t already enough incentive, Daily Leaderboards for POWERFEST events offer additional prizes. There will be two different Leaderboards:

Good luck at the tables, and have fun!

Whatever ‘famous’ poker fixtures you might have heard of, you now have the PokerListings Ranking Series to add to your list! Oh, yes…

We might well dedicate ourselves to the daily service of searching out for our real money online poker community the best online poker bonuses and offers available, but we’re getting used to the idea of organising our own events!

26 February sees the latest edition of our very own Ranking Series, an exclusive collection of six tournaments held in the inviting surroundings of the Portomaso Casino, Malta, one of Europe’s leading poker venues. Continuing every month until April, the series is still only halfway through, and it’s well worth getting involved.

Indeed, whether your poker experience is limited to online poker tournaments or you’re a tournament newcomer, or you’re used to a diet of Texas Hold’em (or Omaha) cash or Sit & Go games, the PokerListings Ranking Series is a great way to start your ‘live’ poker career!

Poker at Portomaso Casino.

First, Malta is the perfect place in which to play poker. The Portomaso Casino is right by the sea (as are so many places on this charming little island paradise) and as user-friendly as it gets. The €150 buy-in tournament features a €5,000 guaranteed prize pool… this is already good news, but note that in the January leg of the series the guarantee was shattered, with the 94 entries generating a very tasty prize pool of nearly €12,000 that saw the eventual winner pick up €3,100!

And that’s not all! A special Leaderboard will award the overall series winner a €550 seat to the Main Event of The Festival in Malta (15-21 May, 2023), with the runner-up receiving a €250 seat for the PokerListings Deepstack Championships that will be held during the same event. You read correctly – that’s yet another PokerListings tournament!

Jump on to the Leaderboard

All you need to do to get on the Leaderboard is play just one tournament during the series, points per event awarded according to finishing position as follows:

  • 1st 100p
  • 2nd 80p
  • 3rd 60p
  • 4th 50p
  • 5th 40p
  • 6th 30p
  • 7th 20p
  • 8th 10p

Good luck, have fun, and we hope to see you in Malta!

When you have a reason to party, you better party hard, and now it’s just the time to do so! Our boy “smile”, the one and only maniac, known all over the international poker scene – Franke, against all odds, managed to survive till 2023 and is finally turning 49, which means, he has survived a total of 50 winters on this earth. How the hell? We are wondering exactly the same. Yet, the man deserves some credit because European live poker scene would not be the same without him!

So, to sing the praises and the ode for our son Franke, iPoker operators PAF, Coolbet, BetFred, and Guts will hold an exclusive “50 Winters of Franke” poker tournament, where you can win a 2000€ poker tournament package just for 20€!!!

But Get Ready For This!

For many this concept must sound quite weird, but if u have ever met Franke, and know something about this Duracell Bunny, who does not rest until poker events are played through and new ones set on the schedule, this iPoker event is well deserved.

Lets get to it….

This Friday, the 24th of February, players at poker rooms PAF, Coolbet, BetFred, and Guts, can win an exclusive tournament package to The Festival Malta for just mere 20€ buy-in! Tournament in question is “FRANKE 50 WINTER”.

Not Just Poker!

Whatever is your reason to travel to Malta, this island offers an amazing experience for who ever is seeking it. All the activities are just around the corner, history, culture, places you have never seen before and mysteries still unsolved to this day!

The accommodation includes 7 nights optionally in a single or double room, in a Golden Tulip Hotel Vivaldi or a hotel that equals their luxorious standards.

If you did not win the special “50 Winters of Franke”, you can still win you place at The Festival Malta from iPoker poker rooms: PAF, Coolbet, FredBet, Guts.

Still, The Festival on Malta will be EPIC!

“A rolling stone gathers no moss” is an old saying that applies not only to life in general, but in the real money online poker world, too. The trick for online poker providers is to keep busy, continually monitoring, updating and adding to their offering in order to successfully care out their share of the global poker pot.

Stand still and they’ll be overtaken, such is the nature of the poker eco-system. Some poker rooms are more noticeably ‘busy’ than others, and Juicy Stakes Poker is a good example. Tune in periodically to this upwardly mobile online poker room and casino, and there’s a good chance you’ll notice something new each time.

Most newcomers, given both their limited experience and time, tend to start their poker journey with the traditional Texas Hold’em cash game, partly because you can literally leave the game at any point. They might at some point progress to the four-hole-card rollercoaster that is Omaha cash, but, most often, next in the development process tends to be Sit & Go games and, inevitably nowadays, online poker tournaments for the ‘bigger’ experience.

Some new(ish) players – having access to various multi-media resources that stream or in some other way feature easy-to-follow action from multi-table tournaments – might jump straight into tournaments. In other words, poker rooms can’t go wrong of they provide a healthy and varied schedule of tournaments for players of all kinds to enjoy – and perhaps win tasty cash prizes.

At Juicy Stakes Poker you’ll find a recent addition to their tournament selection in the form of the Summit Series which, in case you can play only on certain days (or, conversely, every day) runs continuously from Monday to Sunday! Even the best players aren’t guaranteed to cash every time, so the idea of offering a whole series to take part in week after week is player-friendly. In this particular collection of $22 buy-inRebuy/Add-on daily tournaments, the set-up is nicely balanced and will no doubt prove a popular fixture.

Summit Series

  • Monday to Sunday
  • Format: No Limit Texas Hold’em
  • Start time: 5:05pm EST
  • Buy-in: $20+$2
  • Blinds: 8 minutes
  • Starting stack: 3,000 chips
  • Late registration period: 90 minutes
Summit Series.

Incidentally, the name of this series deserves a special mention. Poker tournaments do indeed have a lot in common with mountaineering – there’s mixed terrain that requires successful navigation through varied and challenging conditions and avoiding hazards along the route to the summit…

Meanwhile, we have a feast of online poker bonuses and offers waiting for you on our special info section. Good luck at the tables, and have fun!

For the vast majority of poker fans, however ambitious we might be, and however big a bankroll we strive for, it’s an absolute imperative that we have fun – real money online poker should primarily be affordable entertainment.

The further we develop our game, the more serious our approach becomes, but that doesn’t mean that online poker operators shouldn’t focus some of their efforts on the fun aspects. Whether we’re into Texas Hold’em or Omaha cash or prefer the ups and downs of Sit & Go games or online poker tournaments we can always enjoy this or that amusing feature along the way.

From the very moment GGPoker appeared as the new kid on the block it was clear that here was something different. A champion of recreational players, GGPoker has adopted a very player-friendly attitude that helps create an overall experience that’s impossible not to bring a smile to the face of even the most dedicated grinder. One fun feature that not brings light relief to what can be an adrenaline rollercoaster is Splash …

What Is Splash at GGPoker?

“Wanna trash’em? Splash’em!” – so goes the catchy line that GGPoker has rolled out to introduce Splashes. In the old days of online poker, if we wished to talk about poker hands or life in general we had the Chat facility which, rightly or wrongly, some would use to blow off a bit of steam, perhaps after a bad beat or run of poor fortune. Thanks to the wonders of technology there are other resources at our disposal, and at GGPoker you can express yourself in a fun way if you get a bad beat or are tilting etc. For example, wouldn’t it be fun to vent your frustration by throwing a virtual bucket of water at an opponent?

Splash – How It Works

The Splash feature allows you to direct your displeasure – in a pleasurable way – at those players at the table who give you a tough time. Splashes are awarded to players who have been on the wrong side of a loss, enabling you to at least manage a bit of revenge. This could be in the form of throwing an egg! You can even blow smoke or teasingly jab your target for taking your chips. Note that splashes can be used only on the winner of a hand.

Get ready to do your worst… choose your virtual Splash item and let loose!

As long as you meet certain conditions, there are four unique splashes available – Water Bucket, Egg, Smoke Screen and Punches! The Egg cracks to then splatter against your target’s screen, the Smoke Screen hazes up an opponent’s view and the Punch connects to your opponent’s face – it’s all virtual, remember, so no harm done!

There are a few rules and conditions attached to this indulgent fun – not only can Splashes be used just against the opponent involved in the hand, but if you or they leave the table the item will be lost, and you can hold only one item at a time.

And there’s more…

Table Reactions

As well as Splashes, you can also use virtual reactions when you think opponents might think bet too often, for instance. Give them a thumbs up or thumbs down sign accordingly! Even those players who are sitting out can have fun with the react feature, which is accessed by right-clicking on a PC or long-pressing on a Mobile.

Different poker rooms offer different overall experiences, so check out the latest online poker bonuses and offers available in our info section. Good luck at the tables, and have fun – especially if you’re splashing away at GGPoker…
