Level 20: 2,500/5,000 (5,000)
Brian Calleja is now sitting on a massive stack of 800,000 in chips. While we weren't there when it happened, Calleja was kind enough to share with PokerListings the details.
Calleja opened to 21,000 with ace-king and his opponent called. Calleja c-bet for 26,000 on the ace-queen-eight flop and again for 28,500 after the three came on the turn and was called both times. Another three paired the board on the river. Calleja fired out for 50,000. His opponent raised to 150,000 and Calleja went into the tank. Time was called on Calleja before he found the call.
His opponent had queen-jack, which wasn't nearly enough, and Calleja watched his already big stack before the hand grow in a big way.
Among the less fortunate players to recently lose their stacks included Abdelghafor Mansouri, Blazej Przygorzewski, Hemal Panchmatia, Nicola Cerini, Tom Delaine, Oliver Said, Kyle Pullicino, and Mario Basile.
