The deliberations of the 80-member voting panel for the 2nd Annual GPI American Poker Awards are done and the final nominees are in.

Standing a very good chance of collecting one of those awards?

Jason Somerville and Anthony Zinno, who both made the final cut in two separate categories.

Also making the final list of nominees in various categories include Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Jonathan Duhamel, Kelly Minkin, Cate Hall, Jack Effel and Joe Stapleton.

Awards will be handed out in 11 categories on Feb. 25th at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills with the final winners selected by a jury vote the day before the event.

The event will be broadcast in the evening live on Twitch.tv/GPL and follows the 2nd annual American Poker Conference and the first-ever Global Poker League Draft.

The marquee awards are probably Tournament Performance of the Year and a new category, Poker Moment of the Year, and Zinno is nominated in both for his back-to-back wins on the WPT last February.

Somerville is also nominated in two categories - Media Person of the Year and Media Content of the Year.

Minkin, who had a phenomenal deep run in the WSOP Main Event, will be awarded the pre-determined GPI Female Player of the Year Award and is nominated for Breakout Player of the Year.

Byron Kaverman will receive the 2015 GPI Player of the Year Award, also predetermined. The full list of nominees and categories:
