Ziigmund rips Ivey for $300k at Thunderdome

Phil Ivey
The legendary Phil Ivey: Finnished.

He may be the most hyperaggressive high-stakes player in the history of online poker, but when Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies runs well, he really runs well.

Continuing the run he's been on for the last month, Ziigmund ran roughshod over the legendary Phil Ivey in a short session on the $500/$1,000 Ivey Thunderdome Pot-Limit Omaha table at Full Tilt last night.

Total profit for Ziigmund in this one was roughly $300k, with three huge pots at $200k+ the major tipping points.

The capper was the biggest hand by far today, for $257k, with a rivered jack filling Ziigmund up and saving his six-high straight from being edged out by Ivey's seven-high straight.
