Jeff Madsen, the youngest player ever to win a World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet, will represent Los Angeles in the spectacular team poker tournament, the "PokerBowl." Madsen will be joined on Team L.A. by Brandon Cantu, Gavin Smith, Theo Tran, Joe Cassidy, and Joe Sebok.

The "PokerBowl" is hosted by the U.S. Poker League and will be played in Las Vegas from May 1 to 6. It's a team poker tournament in which 6-player teams from 25 cities will compete for a first prize of $1 million.

Besides the young guns of L.A., lots of big names will be competing in the PokerBowl.

The "Las Vegas Rat Pack," for example, will include Phil Hellmuth, Phil Laak, Phil Gordon, Jennifer Tilly, Antonio Esfandiari and Danny Masterson, while T.J. Cloutier will play for the "Dallas Kowboys," and Mike Matusow will represent the "Philadelphia Phish."

NOTE: The PokerBowl has been rescheduled for May 1-6, 2007, to avoid conflicts with Easter weekend and the World Poker Tour (WPT) World Championship at the Bellagio.
