Another quick day in London has cut the main event field to just 16 players with David Yan and Robin Ylitalo pulling slightly away from the pack.

Yan, who plays as "MissOracle" online, turned his 1m-chip stack to start the day into 2.3m to sieze the outright chip lead.

The sixth-place finisher at this year's Aussie Millions main event Yan is looking to improve on his career best score of $232k.

Ylitalo, a Swedish pro who had a final table and a 141st-place Main Event finish at the WSOP this summer, kept Yan is his sights by bagging up 2.1m.

Day 4 chip leader Martin Kozlov couldn't run his stack up much past yesterday's but still managed to hold onto third with 1.6m heading into the playdown to the final table.

Geilich, Rossiter, Villa-Lobos Make Things Interesting

The final 16 will become a final table of eight tomorrow with plenty of potential for an interesting group.

Currently at 1.4m in chips is UK/German Ludovic Geilich, a winner on the UKIPT this year who put in an impressive showing on the feature table today.

Aussie high roller Jeff Rossiter also improved his stack slightly over the day to sit in ninth.

SCOOP medium main event winner Nicolau Villa-Lobos also held on with his short stack to make Day 5 with 455,000.
