WSOPC action underway in New Orleans

"The Big Easy" is home of the Bayou Poker Challenge on the World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC). Three side events have been played so far, and in total $695,940 has been paid out.
Wendell Welch defeated 529 opponents to take home Event 1, $500+$50 No-Limit Hold'em - a victory worth $74,545.
In Event 2, also a $500+$50 No-Limit Hold'em tournament, Phillip Sparta made it all the way through a 546-strong starting field. He received $76,795 for his efforts.
The third event was a $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em tournament. 179 people paid the buy-in, and Mario Villa took first place and $57,996 in prize money.
