WSOP satellites at Everest Poker

By Erik Sylven

More and more World Series of Poker satellites are popping up in the online poker industry. Next in line to offer 2007 WSOP qualifiers is Everest Poker.

Everest Poker is currently hosting daily qualifying tournaments to the 2007 WSOP Main Event: there are freezeouts with a buy-in of $11+$1, and re-buy satellites which cost $5+50¢ to play in.

The minor satellites lead up to bi-weekly direct entry events. These tournaments will have a $100+$9 buy-in.

Jonathan May, Everest Poker property manager, is excited about the WSOP satellites.

"This is one of our favorite events at Everest Poker. The World Series of Poker Main Event is not only prestigious, but it offers unparalleled excitement for the players and fans," said May.

"One of the reasons we run daily satellites is to give people with smaller bankrolls the chance to play against the pros and maybe even walk away with one of those bracelets. "
