You could be a part of Annie Duke and Phil Hellmuth's team heading to the WSOP.

"X" marks the spot as UltimateBet celebrates its 10th anniversary with 10 months of player promotions.

Kicking off this Roman-themed promotion, players can win seats to the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event, where they'll get to battle some of the gladiators of poker.

Plus there's a potential $10 million bonus for a player at the WSOP.

"This year, in UltimateBet's 10th year online, we remain dedicated to giving our players the ultimate online poker experience while offering a range of unique promotions and life-changing prize money at the table," said Annie Duke, UltimateBet cardroom consultant.

One of those promotions is the "From a Dime to a $10 Million Dream" in which players can win their way to the WSOP.

If you've got 10¢, you can work your way up through UltimateBet's 10 steps to land yourself a $12,000 WSOP prize package. To move from step to step, you just need to finish in first or second place of each level.

If you win the 10th step, you walk away with the $10,000 entry into the WSOP Main Event as well as $2,000 for travel and accommodations.

As added incentive, the first 10 players who move all the way from Step 1 to Step 10 in this promotion will earn a $5,500 Aruba Poker Classic main event seat plus $3,000 for travel and accommodations.

"Our 10¢ WSOP Step qualifiers are just the beginning of a slew of exciting initiatives to be rolled out over the coming months that are sure to capture the attention of players across the globe and keep them coming back well beyond our 10th Anniversary," Duke said.

The prizes don't stop with the online qualifiers either. UltimateBet is also giving the qualifiers and any other players who register with UltimateBet during the WSOP a chance to win a $10 million sponsorship.

Players who qualified at UltimateBet or who registered for the site during the WSOP and who play through the entire Main Event while wearing UltimateBet gear will be eligible for bonus prizes if they make the final table.

A $10 million bonus will be paid out over 10 years to an UltimateBet player who wins the Main Event. That player will also become the newest UltimateBet pro, playing alongside Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke.

Finishing in second through ninth place at the final table would pay out as follows:

  • 2nd: $400k paid out over five years
  • 3rd: $300k paid out over three years
  • 4th-9th: $150k paid out over one year

UltimateBet will also be hosting exclusive WSOP freerolls for PokerListings players every other week starting April 25 and ending June 20. The freerolls will pay out a $12,500 prize package to the winner plus $2,500 cash spread deep in the prize pool.

To be eligible, players must sign up at UltimateBet through PokerListings and then play 200 raked hands during the qualifying periods.

The first freeroll is scheduled for April 25, playing at 3 p.m. ET. Players will need to play the 200 raked hands between March 20 and April 19 to qualify.
