LAS VEGAS, February 13, 2006 -- The World Series of Poker, the premier brand in poker, has teamed up with MBNA America Bank, the premier issuer of affinity credit cards, to create the World Series of Poker Visa card program with World Points rewards.

"The World Series of Poker is the biggest, most prestigious poker tournament in the world," said Jeffrey Pollack, commissioner of the World Series of Poker and vice president sports and entertainment marketing at Harrah's Operating Company. "It makes smart business sense for MBNA to offer a credit card with such an esteemed brand and dedicated following."

This unique, no-annual-fee program allows cardholders to earn unlimited points for not only cash-back, travel, and brand name merchandise, but also buy-ins to WSOP World Championship and Circuit events.

Authentic World Series of Poker merchandise is also available to cardholders, including WSOP hats, t-shirts, poker tables, poker chips and poker lessons with WSOP Champions Johnny Chan and Chris Moneymaker.

The World Series of Poker is owned and operated by an affiliate of Harrah's Operating Company, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Harrah's Entertainment. Caesars Palace is a Harrah's-brand casino.
