The schedule for the 2010 WSOP Europe is set, and two new bracelet events have been added to the schedule this year.

Harrah's Inc. has added two new events to the slate for the WSOPE 2010, which takes place Sept. 14-28 at Casino at the Empire in London.

The new £2.5k Six-Handed No-Limit Hold-em event will kick off the WSOPE, with the three-day event leading off the festivities Sept. 14.

The WSOP also added a £10k Heads Up High Roller event on Sept. 21. The tournament will only run one day and will actually offer a higher buy-in than the Las Vegas version.

Conversely Harrah's opted to remove the £2.5k Pot-Limit Hold'em/Omaha event, which only drew 158 entrants last year.

The new schedule brings the number of bracelet events at the WSOPE to five, up from four in 2009.

"We held steady at 57 events in Las Vegas despite last year's record attendance," said WSOP vice president Ty Stewart.  "The increase here is thoughtful and consistent with the growing stature of this event."

2010 marks the fourth year of the WSOPE, with the £10k Main Event beginning on Sept. 23.

Barry Shulman took down the Main Event bracelet in 2009 amongst a star-studded field. The Card Player Media CEO won the bracelet after a stunning heads-up win over Daniel Negreanu, taking home £801,603.

The WSOPE Main Event final table was one of the most talked about tournament finals of 2009, with Shulman, Negreanu, Jason Mercier, Praz Bansi, James Akenhead and Antoine Saout all in the final nine.

Also back on the schedule for 2010 are the £5k Pot-Limit Omaha and £1k No-Limit Hold'em events.

Registration for the 2010 WSOPE is available now at any London Clubs International (LCI) venue in the UK or at the Rio All-Suites Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
