The World Series of Poker will once again be streaming a final table every day of the 2016 WSOP in addition to a wealth of new digital features.

On-air talent David Tuchman and Tatjana Pasalic will return for the live streams and this year the WSOP plans on giving more of an overview of the entire WSOP on each day instead of just focusing on the final table.

Caesars has also hired social media master Kevin (@Kevmath) Mathers to handle the official WSOP Twitter accounts this year.

One of Mather’s duties will be keeping an eye on the new WSOP ChipIN tool, which will allow players to update their chip counts on the WSOP’s website.

Faster Digital Payout System

Better live streams and social media are just the start for the WSOP this year, however, as there are several digital updates that should make a difference over the course of the venerable poker series.

Perhaps first and foremost is the new eQueue payout system, which allows players to skip excessive payout lines and instead register in a queue online.

Players will than be free to leave the payout area but will be summoned back by a text message when tellers are ready to process them.

One major change to the WSOP this year is that Caesars has gotten permission for players to wear headphones all the way until the final table.

Due to Nevada regulations it used to be required that players take off their headphones after reaching the money in a tournament.

Finally the WSOP’s online poker site WSOP.com will parallel this year’s series with more than 500 events and $2m in guarantees.
