Thousands of poker players will be at the WSOP this year and many are brand new to playing the live game.

Now, the World Series of Poker Academy is offering these first-timers a Main Event Primer with some of the most respected players in the world sharing pearls of wisdom to help them make the most of the experience.

From June 29 to July 1 at Caesars Palace, past WSOP Main Event champions Phil Hellmuth and Greg Raymer, WSOP bracelet winners Annie Duke and Mark Seif, WPT title winner Phil Gordon, and Alex Outhred will be among the instructors at the tournament primer.

"Like the WSOP Main Event itself, our Main Event Primer only comes around once a year and is unrivaled in its level of instruction as well as the interaction participants have with the biggest names in poker," said Brandon Rosen of Post Oak Productions

"It truly is a unique opportunity to learn optimal strategy from the pros who have won it all."

What does the $2,499 tuition fee buy you? Three days of seminars with Q&As, video analysis of WSOP tournament footage and private multi-table tournaments.

The focus will be No-Limit Hold 'em strategy, advanced tournament stage strategy, pre-flop and post-flop strategy, table dynamics, intimidation and control of your opponents and heads-up strategy.

Ex-FBI counter-terrorism specialist and author Joe Navarro will also present an advanced poker tells seminar on decoding poker tells and on reading the nonverbal communications that people exhibit when they are lying.

Space is limited, and the event is expected sell out.
