WPT winds down with Foxwoods Poker Classic

The Mashantucket Pequot reservation in Connecticut opens its doors to the poker world once again Friday, when the World Poker Tour's Foxwoods Poker Classic gets under way.

The $10,000 event is the 17th of the Jonathan Little has a commanding lead with 1,900 points.

Only two players - Victor Ramdin scored his first major tournament victory when he defeated phenom Alex Jacob in the final matchup for a score of $1,331,889.

Last year it was Raj Patel who claimed the title. He outlasted a field of 415 players before topping Paul Matteo heads-up for the first prize. The final standings last year were as follows:
