WPT Bucharest Adds Events

The World Poker Tour and Regent Casino Bucharest in Romania have added a series of side events to the WPT Bucharest schedule.

In addition to the 400-seat €3000+300 WPT Main Event, set to run Mar. 27-Apr. 2 at the Novotel Bucharest City Center Hotel, organizers will run a group of super satellites starting at €150€+€15 and both a €500 and €1,000 two-day side event.

"We want WPT Bucharest to become a major event on the international poker scene, and a 'must do' for any poker player," said Sorin Constantinescu, Regent Casino CEO.

"The combination of the excellent location, special facilities and great tournament action will keep players coming back."

Also planned is a player welcome party kicking off the action Mar. 26 at 8pm at Space Club near the Novotel Hotel.

The super-satellites and new side events begin Mar. 20.

Already confirmed to play in the main event is Team PokerStars Pro and WPT Season 7 Player of the Year Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier.
