WPT announces Season 5 tournament schedule

The World Poker Tour (WPT) has announced the tournament schedule for Season 5, which will begin and end in Las Vegas. In addition to the recently published list of events, WPT also said two more tournament series are set to be confirmed at a later date.

WPT Season 5 will run as follows:

• The Mirage Poker Showdown - The Mirage, Las Vegas; May 14-17, 2006.
• Mandalay Bay Poker Championship - Mandalay Bay; Las Vegas; June 4-8, 2006.
• Grand Prix de Paris - Aviation Club de France, Paris; June 12-16, 2006.
• Legends of Poker - The Bike, Los Angeles; Aug. 26-30, 2006.
• Borgata Poker Open - The Borgata, Atlantic City, NJ; Sept. 15-19, 2006.
• N.A. Poker Championship - Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort, Canada; Oct. 25-29, 2006.
• World Poker Finals - Foxwoods, Mashantucket, CT; Nov. 11-16, 2006.
• Five Diamond World Poker Classic - Bellagio, Las Vegas; Dec. 15-19, 2006.
• PokerStars.com Caribbean Adventure - PokerStars.com; Atlantis - Paradise Island, Bahamas; Jan. 6-13, 2006.
• World Poker Open - Gold Strike, Tunica, MS; Jan. 21-25, 2006.
• L.A. Poker Classic - Commerce Casino, Los Angeles; Feb. 15-20, 2006.
