After a brief Canadian tour of duty, the WPT is coming back to the United States in a big way.

The World Poker Finals are set to begin tomorrow and they're sure to constitute one of the premier poker events of the year. Last year Mimi Tran, Michael Perry and Michael Omelchuk to take home a whopping prize.

Get your Wampum Rewards Card ready because the tournament will take place at Foxwoods Casino, Connecticut. The finals will run for a total of six days, Nov. 7-13. Last year Medic took down an astounding $1,717,194 and it's unlikely this year will disappoint.

If you don't have the $10,000 buy-in but would still like to see some of the best poker players in the world compete, Foxwoods is the place to be. In years past Nick Schulman, Tuan Le, Hoyt Corkins and Howard Lederer have all proven victorious at the World Poker Finals.

Foxwoods Resort Casino is the largest casino in the world so even if you're not playing in the WPT Championship Event you're likely to find a poker table with stakes you like. The casino has over 380 gaming tables along with 7,400 slot machines.
