Second and third place were taken by Arnaud Grumiaux and Loic Dubois, respectively.
"Everest Poker would like to congratulate Mr. Mullemeester on his victory," said Sandrine Dubois, Everest Poker's French marketing manager. "He played with dazzling skill and is absolutely deserving of the title, 'French Poker Tour Champion.'"
Ms. Dubois added, "Everest Poker would also like to thank its French players who qualified for the final. We are very proud of the way they played, and we look forward to more great poker accomplishments from all of them!"
The French Poker Tour Championship event was preceded by a series of land-based and Internet qualifying tournaments hosted at 15 different locations throughout France and online at Everest Poker during the fall and early winter. Live tournaments were hosted in Colombes, Tours, Lyon, Marne La Vallee, and Strasbourg, among other locations. All qualifying tournament winners were awarded seats to the championship event.
