Will it be the world's longest poker game?
They've wrapped in southeast London, with their world record attempt for the longest uninterrupted poker game done at 43 hours and 30 minutes. The question now: Is it enough?
The BBC is reporting 24 players anted up £20 late Friday night at the Basement Jacks club in Greenwich, with their goal the world record for the longest uninterrupted poker game.
They wrapped late Sunday afternoon at 43 hours and 30 minutes, with breaks to go to the toilet and to get something to eat the only short interruptions along the way.
Two independent moderators were said to have monitored the bid, the BBC reports, and the final number will go to the arbiters at Guinness World Records for verification.
The question now: Is it enough to be an authentic world record?
Regardless of the final decision at Guinness, online card forums are rife with talk the supposed record is far from the longest uninterrupted poker game ever.
Two-day straight sessions are said to be common place in the industry, and several notable poker games have carried on for much longer than that, players say, with varied amounts of time allotted for "breaks."
