Will Gavin Smith ever taste victory again?
In poker: Likely. On Prop Bets: Seemingly never, with the resounding pounding from Joe Sebok continuing in the latest episode of their (almost) always-entertaining show, despite the "lamest" prop bet ever - the staring contest - evening the playing field.
"We'll see who the idiots are now," host Lauren Boiros says as she introduces the newest and, yes, perhaps, lamest contest ever between the two on their RawVegas.tv show.
And, of course, we did.
But even the most basic battle from the playground set couldn't level the field for the increasingly sad sack Smith, who forked over another $2,000 to his pal and stretched his losing streak to six - dropping, handily, the best two-out-of-three staring contest.
He even was allowed to actually, physically, hold his eyes open. And it still wasn't enough.
Granted, he did win one of the three (Although that was a questionable decision in its own right).
But in the end, Sebok still left with a handful of Smith's cash - the only consolation being it was easier to swallow than the tattoo of Sebok's initials he had to get on the last episode.
