Wife of slain pro headed for Nevada jail
By Erin Warner
The wife and alleged killer of professional poker player William Gustafik was moved from a California hospital Wednesday and is awaiting transfer to Nevada to face murder charges.
Jill Rockcastle, 49, was hospitalized in San Luis Obispo after being found unconscious at a bed and breakfast Monday, reports the Associated Press.
She is now charged with the death of 44-year-old Gustafik, who started playing poker professionally in 2005 and was known on the circuit as "The Manipulator."
Gustafik, who had been stabbed several times, was found Friday in the master bedroom of his luxury Las Vegas high rise condo, which also houses pro player David Williams. Police say they have a knife believed to be used in the slaying, which resulted from a domestic argument, the AP reports.
Rockcastle's medical condition is unknown but police say she showed no visible signs of injury or attack.
