'What's Next?' for online gambling at IGCE
Everybody's looking for answers about the future of online gambling, and the directors of the International Gaming Conference & Expo (IGCE) say they know exactly where to look: Cancun, Mexico, as that's where they'll be for their next conference in May.
After successful conferences in San Jose, Costa Rica, and Dublin, Ireland, last year, the IGCE conference moves to the Fiesta Americana Condesa in Cancun this year, with a clear picture of the most important issue on the agenda for the gaming industry:
"What's Next?"
"In a society such as ours," Cynthia Pagano, Assistant Director of Conferences for the IGCE said in a release, "where gambling is pervasive, lotteries are held in almost every state, wagering is a near obsessive pastime ..."
"The intention of the government to curtail the activity, with emphasis on the Internet, demands a multitude of questions and answers to determine what is next."
So the focus of the conference in Cancun is "What's Next?" with sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, and attendees discussing the direction of the gaming and gambling industries in the U.S. and abroad, particularly off-shore.
Registration for the conference, May 7-9, has begun and information is available by emailing info@igconference.com.
