We're not worthy! cmyworth wins Sunday Million
U.S. player cmyworth outlasted 8,799 players to take down the biggest chunk of a $1.7 million prize pool in the PokerStars Sunday Million last night.
cmyworth was indeed worthy and received $213,136 for his efforts in poker's biggest online weekly tournament.
cmyworth also had to beat noted 2+2er iggymcfly in heads-up play to secure first place. iggymcfly didn't seem to mind much, as he received $143,440 for second.
Several notable players also made some big scores in the various PokerStars Sunday tournaments, including Adam "Roothlus" Levy, Matt "All_in_at420" Stout, Chris "Moorman1" Moorman and Shaun Deeb.
Shaun Deeb finished third in the Sunday 500 for $50,000 while Moorman finished fifth for $26,250 in the same event.
Levy finished third in the Sunday Warm-Up for a total of $53,067 and PokerListings blogger Stout continued his strong run in '09 by coming in second for $24,467 in the always-popular $109+Rebuys.
Meanwhile there was a six-way chop in the February edition of the Turbo Takedown, with German player annanoplay taking down first place for $70,457.
