What the heck happened to the Pokerlistings freeroll on Pokerstars???
Can't just cancel a tournament like that! Thats hilarious! 375 players more than enough to run a tournament! Pokerlistings have really lost a LOT of respect now...

It's complete bullshit that the freeroll was cancelled, either poker listings or stars screwed up bigtime. nobody was able to register until maybe 10 hours before the tourney was to start because the tickets werent in the account.

Maybe there is a simple explanation...
I was surprised too, because this has never happened before.
Does anyone kows the reason for cancelling ?

    2009-11-22

They cancelled because it was a 500 person min - but the point is that the tickets were not put into our accounts until the middle of the night last night, I tried all week and finally e-mailed stars and a couple hours later they were there. Thats why not enough people were there! total cluster f**k

I hope they show some goodwill and make the next PS freeroll >40K and free entry for all who registered in the canceled tourney.
But hey its only hope and i dont think they do it, becouse itz poker and they can cancel and refuse everything they want... stands in the terms read them....
    Sick regards,
    JJ

Pokerstars always send an notification email a few days before the tournament. and this time they didn't and that is maybe the reason of few players. anyway it's their fault. and there's still a week to 1M turbo takedown, so they can set another freeroll and if they don't ... maybe they did it on purpose.

    Hey guys,

Firstly, I want to apologize for this. I don't want to say "it's not our fault", but since we have absolutely no access to anything to do with how a poker site runs, the mistake was not on our end.

The tournament is being re-run in a few days. Check your emails, and contact pokerstars if you have any questions.

I wish I could have gotten back to you sooner on this, but I had to wait to hear back from people before I could post anything.

Sorry for the screwup, and good luck when the cards hit the air.

looks like we might be headed for a repeat of last week, no tickets yet and no entrants.
