WCOOP player breaks record, wins two events in one year

Kyle "kwob20" Bowker earned his second 2006 World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) bracelet and title early this morning after winning Event 14, a Seven-Card Stud Hi-Lo tournament. Bowker had previously won Event 5 of the 2006 WCOOP.
His two-event win marks the first time a player has won more than one bracelet during a WCOOP series in one year.
For his second win of 2006, Bowker, who is from the United States, beat an eight-player final table made up of two Americans, an Italian, a German, a Spaniard, a Norwegian and an Australian. He collected more than $68,000 for his efforts, bringing his total 2006 WCOOP winnings to more than $170,000.
