American player dnKid won the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) Short-Handed Pot-Limit Hold'em tournament in the early hours of Sept. 28 after more than 12 hours of play.

The online player came out on top of a six-player final table after a six-way deal was cut that left $10,000 for first place, representing the first time a WCOOP prize pool was chopped with all the final table players still in the game. The top six players included three Americans, one Canadian, a Dane and a German.

Following the negotiations, play recommenced and players began to knock each other out until only Germany's spaceMe and dnKid were left. After less than 10 minutes and an intense raising and re-raising battle, dnKid was awarded a whopping $87,560 and a gold WCOOP bracelet for his efforts.

Final table results are as follows:

PlaceNamePrize
1st dnKid $87,560
2nd spaceMe $47,113
3rd Lenny $40,156
4th DeathsHead26 $34,259
5th Goodfella_84 $26,780
6th Tulkaz $27,581
