VIP Poker closes to new U.S. and Canadian players
VIP Poker, a popular site on the Microgaming Network, has joined the ranks of poker rooms no longer accepting new U.S. and Canadian players.
In response to a request from PokerListings.com, an official representative of the Microgaming Network confirmed the news, saying it was "a company decision" and was "mostly because of the new law they implemented."
The restrictions seem to apply to all Canadian players but new U.S. players only, with existing U.S. players still able to withdraw, deposit and play as usual.
An email to their affiliates was also sent out indicating the same, suggesting long standing premium customers will continue to be served, but effective immediately, deposits from new U.S. customers and all Canadian players will no longer be accepted.
Stay tuned to PokerListings.com for more information as it's revealed.
