Thomas Kearney was one of a generation of young poker players who cashed in big during the online poker boom but he says at 19 years old he was young and dumb with money. Now Kearney is more mature and ready to take advantage of the opportunity he has in the 2015 WSOP Main Event. Kearney came into Day 7 of this year's world championship as chip leader with 27 players left and at time of publishing the field was down to 21 with Kearney sitting a little below average stack. Kearney is guaranteed over $262k but he's got his sights set squarely on the November Nine and the first-place prize of $7.68 million. Recently Kearney started streaming his online poker sessions on Twitch and even sold some small pieces of his WSOP to followers on Twitch for as low as $40. Kearney's girlfriend is busy tweeting live updates on Tom's behalf as he plays down to the biggest final table in poker.
