Vegas poker tournament, blogger style

Next week, poker writers will pull themselves away from their keyboards long enough to compete in this year's World Poker Blogger Tour Winter Classic event.

Instead of just writing about poker, bloggers will hit up Caesars Palace in Las Vegas for some of their own tournament action Dec. 9.

The first player to bust out of the event will receive a copy of the Ben Affleck-Jennifer Lopez box office bomb, "Gigli." Poker writer Pauly of the Web site "The Tao of Poker" is to present the now third-annual award.

In addition to the tournament, poker bloggers will also meet in Las Vegas to network, share ideas, play poker, socialize and, of course, write about it.

The schedule is loose - basically there isn't one - but each year organizers try to keep tournament seats and time slots open should any poker pros want to participate.
