VC Student Poker returns for third year
By Sarah Polson
Now in its third year, VC Student Poker has once again started at VC Poker for students in U.K. universities and colleges. For free, or as little as $5, students can participate in tournaments to win cash and a chance to make it to the televised final with a $50,000 guaranteed prize pool.
The promotion kicked off with a series of freerolls each with a $250 prize pool and a semi-final seat. The last of those freerolls wraps up in the next week with one on Friday and another on Monday.
From then on the qualifying tournaments are a mix of freerolls, Action Points buy-ins, and $5 buy-in freezeout tournaments all leading up to a semi-final tournament in April with a $2,000 prize pool and a chance for 18 people to move on to the final round.
The date and location of the final haven't yet been set.
For more information about the tournament, please visit VC Poker.
