Tiltware LLC, the software company behind Full Tilt Poker, is moving its corporate headquarters from the U.S. to Dublin, Ireland, creating up to 200 new jobs there.
Sources said Tiltware LLC chose to relocate outside of the U.S. because of the uncertainty of the country's position on online gambling. While they don't operate an online gambling site themselves, they do provide the technology infrastructure to online gambling businesses such as Full Tilt Poker, which may be considered illegal in the U.S.
The U.S. House of Representatives recently passed the former BetonSports, Plc. chief executive, as well as other employees of the online gambling company and marketing companies associated with them for racketeering and fraud charges related to taking sports bets from U.S. citizens online.
According to reports, the Tiltware LLC is already recruiting employees in Ireland. Thirty of the company's employees have relocated to Dublin; they've hired 40 more key members; and they're planning to hire another 100 people in the next 12 months.
The average salary the company is offering is in the €80,000 range with salaries starting at €30,000 and reaching up as high as €120,000.
