U.S. players can still cash in loyalty points at PartyPoker.com

By: Christopher Hunt

PartyPoker.com has announced a deadline of Jan. 16 for former U.S. players to cash in previously-earned loyalty points at their Players Club store.

PartyPoker.com, once the most popular online poker room for U.S. players, decided shortly after the passing of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) in October to pull out of the U.S. market.

That decision left a lot of U.S. players with previously-earned loyalty points wondering what the consequences might be for their expected rewards.

PartyPoker.com clarified the situation this week in an email to their former U.S. players, announcing a Jan. 16 deadline to cash in loyalty points at the PartyPoker.com store, after which the store will be closed.

The online store is stocked with a variety of poker-themed gifts and prizes, like books and videos, and an extensive selection of PartyPoker.com merchandise.
