UPC code for Binion's event: XX only
2007 is rapidly becoming rated double X. With strong showings in main events so far, rapidly growing prize money in ladies-only events, and now The Ultimate Women's Poker Challenge, an all-female event to go next week at the legendary Binion's Casino in Vegas, there's never been a better time to be a female poker player.
Hot on the heels of the L.A. Poker Classic announcing an enhanced prize package for this year's Ladies Tournament, the First Ultimate Women's Poker Challenge will run Feb. 9-10, 2007.
Now in its third season, The Ultimate Poker Challenge films live from the legendary Binion's Casino in Las Vegas, airing final tables each week with added commentary from poker pro Chad Brown and a revolving cast of guest poker celebrities.
The UPC is America's number one syndicated poker show, and as with all of their events, the women's event will be syndicated nationally on local television, a first for an all-women's event.
The main tournament starts on Feb. 9 at 4 p.m. (PST), with the final table played on Feb. 10 at 4 p.m. also.
The direct buy-in is $200+$35, but Binion's will be running satellite single-table tournaments starting on Feb. 8 for as low as $20.
