Unibet teams up with Liverpool FC

The online betting and poker operator Unibet has signed a deal with the English football club Liverpool F.C. to become an exclusive betting partner for the next three years.

Unibet Group Plc., which operates the immensely popular unibet.com site, will launch a gambling site branded by Liverpool Football Club later this year.

The site will offer casino, poker and sports betting, among other features. Unibet will also stage a series of promotions where players can win prizes such as tickets to football games and signed team shirts.

Liverpool F.C. is one of the most famous football clubs in the entire EU. The club has won 18 national league titles and five European championships. Liverpool FC will be the first major team to fully brand a gambling site.
