UltimateBet satellites will take you there

Who says playing poker won't get you anywhere? At UltimateBet players can compete for ongoing satellites to live tournaments in Australia, Tunica and Las Vegas.

On Wednesdays at 9:30 p.m. (EST), UltimateBet is hosting a $300+$20 Aussie Millions satellite until Dec. 27.

The winner receives an $18,000 prize package to attend the Aussie Millions live tournament in Melbourne Jan. 14-19. The package includes the $10,000 event buy-in, $8,000 for travel expenses and, you can hope, a suntan.

If dingos aren't your thing, check out the $200+$15 satellites to the World Poker Tour Tunica event in Mississippi on Mondays at 9:30 p.m. (EST). Play runs from Dec. 11 to Jan. 11 and gives UltimateBet customers the chance to win a $12,000 prize package to the southern state Jan. 21-25.

For every $12,000 added to the prize pool, the poker room is offering an additional $12,000 prize package that includes a $10,000 tournament buy-in and $2,000 for travel and accommodations.

Players aiming for an inaugural gold bracelet may be more interested in the site's World Series of Poker prize package, however. Nightly $30+$3 satellites for a $12,000 prize package run at 9 p.m. (EST), ending this weekend.

But weekly events for WSOP seats will continue every Friday night at 9:30 p.m. (EST) until June 17 at UltimateBet. The buy-in is $200+$15 and the prize is $12,000, which includes a $10,000 WSOP buy-in and $2,000 for expenses.
