UltimateBet is opening its tables this weekend in hopes that online players will be willing to open their hearts and their wallets in support of Ante Up For Africa.

Starting today, UltimateBet has set up a series of six poker tournaments to take place on the poker site for three days to raise money for the charity, which aims to help the people affected by the crisis in Darfur, Sudan.

The tournament series starts today with a $10+$10 event hosted by Phil Hellmuth at 8 p.m. At 9 p.m. a second charity tourney with a $20+$20 event will start, hosted by Annie Duke.

On Saturday, action will begin again at 5 p.m. with a $20+$20 event hosted by the UltimateBet Star Players Team. Then at 6 p.m. Annie Duke will be joined by Don Cheadle to host a $10+$10 tournament.

Cliff "JohnnyBax" Josephy will take the help on Sunday to host a $10+$10 event at 5 p.m. Then the Online Team UB will take over hosting duties at 6 p.m. for the $20+$20 tourney.

For all the tournaments, the buy-in will go into the prize pool and the tournament fee will be donated to Ante Up For Africa.

UltimateBet is also sweetening the deal for participants by adding some prizes to the cash prize pool in each tournament.

They will be handing out Aruba 100-seat entries for Sept. 13, UltimateBet gear, iAmplify Phil Hellmuth White to Black Belt courses, AUFA Christian Audigier autographed T-shirts, magazine subscriptions, gas cards and more.

The participants will also have the experience of getting to play with some of the pros. Along with Duke, Hellmuth and Josephy, some players confirmed to participate include Mark "P0ker H0" Kroo, Gary "Debo34" DeBernardi, Shawn Rice, Tiffany Michelle and James "POKERPRO33" Campbell.

If players aren't able to participate in the tournaments, there are other ways they can make a donation as well. Under the Scheduled Tournaments tab, under Private, there is a listing for Ante Up For Africa Donations.

In there, players can donate money in $10, $25, $50 and $100 increments. These aren't tournaments that will run; they are just donation placeholders on the poker site.
