UltimateBet Online Championship rolling towards $2 million

More than $2 million in guaranteed money is on the line for the UltimateBet Online Championship and the first two winners have already staked their claim to over $45,000 of it.

Ten days, ten WSOP bracelets is the theme of the series, as UltimateBet decided to celebrate Phil Hellmuth's record-tying bracelet win with an extensive online championship and $2 million in payouts to their players.

The first two events went on Friday and Saturday, with players khennes and longhorn757 taking home the titles and the spoils.

It was khennes who took out the field in the first event, a $200 + $15 No-Limit Hold'em tournament with a $125,000 guarantee, taking $30,550 for the top spot.

On Saturday, longhorn757 outlasted the field for $14,508 in event two, a $200 + $15 Pot-Limit Omaha High showdown with $50,000 in guaranteed money.

The series continues with a tournament each day, culminating in a $1 million No-Limit Hold'em event Dec. 10.
