Today is the big day in the UltimateBet Online Championship (UBOC), as the successful series winds down with a $1 million No-Limit Hold'em finale and one player getting a chance at Phil Hellmuth heads-up.

It's hard to say which has seen the most heated competition over the course of the ten-day event: The daily tournaments themselves, or the subsequent jockeying for position on the points leaderboard.

Events 8 and 9 went on Friday and Saturday, respectively, and the final tables had both familiar and unfamiliar names making their way to the top.

In the Friday event, a $200,000 No-Limit Hold'em guarantee, it was mcmanusd taking top spot and $46,000. On Saturday, the name of the game was H.O.R.S.E., with a $100,000 guarantee, and it was indariva taking the title and $26,000.

On the leaderboard, rps5000's once-commanding lead has dwindled to 25, with awobball44 in second. A second-place finish in Saturday's H.O.R.S.E. event moved WiscoMurray up to fourth in points, only 45 back.

The points winner gets a shot at Phil Hellmuth heads-up for $10,000.
