UltimateBet's $2 million Online Championship starts Dec. 1
The $2 million UltimateBet Online Championship starts later this week, with ten days of poker and blackjack events culminating in a $1 million guaranteed No-Limit Hold'em tournament Dec. 10.
Celebrating Phil Hellmuth's 10th WSOP bracelet is the idea behind the ten-day event, UltimateBet says, with ten big guaranteed pots on the line for the tournament run.
The series starts with a $125,000 No-Limit Hold'em event, and play continues each day at 8 p.m. with a new game; five of the events will be No-Limit Hold'em, with Limit Hold'em and Omaha events mixed in for good measure. A single Elimination Blackjack contest will be played on Dec. 9.
The big finish is a $1 million guaranteed No-Limit Hold'em game on Dec. 10 at 3 p.m. Buy-ins are $200 + $15 for the first nine events, and $500 + $30 for the closer, or you can play your way in through feeder games currently on at UltimateBet.
The first place finisher in each event will get a special commemorative silver UltimateBet Online Championship bracelet, and the big winner gets to play a heads-up match against Phil Hellmuth himself, with an extra $10,000 cash on the line.
