The day the @wsop comes out with its schedule is like Christmas morning for me.

Love what the @wsop did with the Ladies' event this year. Excellent creativity to keep out douche bag guys unless they wanna spend 10x buyin

pretty awesome schedule, including a $111K buyin tournament, announced for @wsop! #cantwait wsop.com/tournaments/

Bravo @wsop addressing the issue of "men" playing ladies events by making it a $10k and giving ladies a $9k discount! Very clever!
— Daniel Negreanu (@RealKidPoker) February 14, 2013
So the #WSOP FINALLY made a stand and made the ladies event $10k with a discount to $1k for actual ladies. Should keep the tossers away. #WP

Nevada explicitly carved out of its anti-discrimination law "differential pricing" based on gender. #WSOP smart to use it.

I think I would actually pay $10K to get into the Senior's Event. #WSOP
— Shane Schleger (@ShaneSchleger) February 14, 2013
Pretty sure at this price structure the Ladies in the Ladies Event @wsop will actually want a few brave men to enter. Well done #WSOP
— Matt Glantz (@MattGlantz) February 14, 2013
Hahaha brilliant. WSOP made the ladies event a $10k buy-in, but Ladies get in for $1k. Cue the transgender related debacle.

Notable omissions from wsop 2013 schedule. Limit shootout gone. Only one stud high event. Plo/nl heads up gone. Horse 10k gone.
— Allen Kessler (@AllenKessler) February 15, 2013
In the ten minutes I spent looking at @wsop schedule, I went from wanting to play a ton, to playing the fewest events I've ever played.
