2010-07-15Is it wrong to make a c-bet if you have raised pre flop with AK, got one caller, flop is like 4 8 T rainbow?

2010-03-19Shane,
A floater is simply a continuation bet made on the turn rather than the flop. You let the bet float before dropping it on the turn.

2010-03-19Sorry for bein' such a noob, but what's a "floater"?

2009-02-27The Floater is absolutely a useful tool. The key is understanding your opponent. Many high-level poker players are just as aware of floaters, and actively play to "sink the floater".
If you don't know your opponent, a C-Bet is typically a good idea, if you're playing someone tricky, only then should you start mixing in the floaters.

2009-02-27What about the floater? Seems like the standard cbet is so oldschool people are super ready for it.
